If you mean that UNO headhunted Kristo and we didn't do much about it, I agree - we can't always wait for the refs

Disrupt our breakout and we've got no answer Hak takes over the top program in the country which has just moved into the best arena in the country Blais takes over a start up program He's in our building kicking our ass - do the math

Agree they still have a long way to go. I've been a Mussman critic, but I do recognize that he has grown some this year. However, a last second field goal to beat Sioux Falls in a game at home that we should have been spitting fire is not quite what I had hoped for. Muss needs to keep improving as he has some weaknesses that could cost us. I think my big worry is our quarterback situation. Since Muss has been in charge, we have failed to make the most important position on the team secure and I'm not hopeful for next year. This is squarely on the head coach. I agree that 8-3 buys him some time to improve, but remember - he was only two plays this season from being a bum.
-
Ah, the new quarterback, that's the rub
-
I've never seen another team that spends so much time on the power play passing it around the perimeter - looking, looking, pass, teeing it up, pass, oops (or shoot into someones legs). This play is not unique to this year. What gives? This seems to be our standard power play.

I'd feel a hell of a lot better about this season if we had gotten it done last year.

Actually, the head coach has total control over the program. He hires the assistants, approves the schemes run, oversees recruiting of all players, manages the game, and imparts an overall philosophy and attitude on the team. To say the coach does only one thing is totally incorrect. True, he can't suit up, but he controls who does. If a team doesn't have a division I quarterback, that's on the head coach, if players underperform - well the head coach brought them in, if the team can't get fired up - head coach again. Another way of saying this team is just a quarterback away (It would help, but there are other issues) is "our coaches didn't recruit anyone who could be an outstanding quarterback at this level. Like it or not it is all on Muss.

I predict this squad will set a new standard for hard work and determination
-
I can think of another way to prevent this from happening.
-
It's halftime of the Sioux Falls game - anyone still wonder why the students aren't fired up?
-
Note to Muss - this is how you come to play a superior team - anybody think Sioux Falls will take any knees?
-
We need to put up 50 on these guys to gain some self-respect back
-
When's the last time an NAIA school went to their stadium and gave them a beat down?
-
Strange - every game I have been at there are many empty seats around the band - as many as 4 or 5 rows Can anybody close to the athletic dept. check to see what is going on?

Need 4 lower bowl tickets for October 28th

Got em Thanks -
Mussman's lack of a set is legendary and is the one constant throughout this season I liked some of what I saw today However, in addition to never playing to win, the failure to recruit a D1 quarterback really has held this team back (no disrespect to Goska, who had a gutty performance)

This gives us a little insight into the brain trust that runs UND. They occupy a place that never intersects with the real world. They won't be happy until they suck the life out of everything fun. I seriously question Kelly's judgement.
-
At best - I think they are downright embarrasing
-
Just room to get in - the place is impossibly small
-
Especially after last weekend, I'm hoping our defense unleashes "60 minutes of pain" on the Maine forwards.
-
I agree that ultimately it is the players responsibility for how they played. I'm just frustrated that we can't ever seem to figure out BC. Every year it's the exact same game. However, referring to it as a close game other than when they scored a bunch sounds a little like "other than that, how did you like the play, Mtrs. Lincoln?"
-
How long do you figure it will take him? - I'm not trying to be cute - It's just that we're kind of stuck until that happens
-
Really? You're going with that? It was a close game except for those 4 quick goals we gave up?
