Schmidt brought in new energy and enthusiasm - however, if you look at our season we lost to every tough team we played amid horrible play calling. The devolution of Jerry is like something I have never seen before - yet every game was the same - a big third down - hey let's throw long even though that has not worked once this season. Changes need to be made (not saying Schmidt - saying he has to be the one to make the changes).

Agreed - but the coaches are responsible for teaching discipline and smart play.

Coaching decisions have cost us multiple games this season - When is the last time on 3rd or 4th down that throwing it long down field has worked?

Nice to win these type of games though.

It would help if he stopped letting the OC call this type of game - 0 for 5 in close games and actively pissing most of them away is not acceptable anywhere.

The OC is clearly an idiot who is incapable of change - Yet the HC allows him to continue his foolishness.

On the other hand the offense is different in a different way.

And that's being generous

Coaching malpractice by the OC and by extension the HC for letting this go on.

We won against weak sisters - were you in a coma during our 5 losses to good teams - games we should have won - The Bison game? Worst overall play calling I have ever seen. We have a good team and went 0-5 in close games. Look at our red zone success.

So - no one is doing their job most of this season - I can't believe this play calling problem hasn't been fixed or at least adjusted a bit.
