We won against weak sisters - were you in a coma during our 5 losses to good teams - games we should have won - The Bison game? Worst overall play calling I have ever seen. We have a good team and went 0-5 in close games. Look at our red zone success.

So - no one is doing their job most of this season - I can't believe this play calling problem hasn't been fixed or at least adjusted a bit.

We have had flashbacks to Bubbaball this year in our 5 losses (think meltdowns) - Winning programs figure out how to win - we have not - We are 0-5 on closely contested games. Not saying Schmidt can't get us on track but so far we are not. A very frustrating year - thank goodness we have been given new life. The lack of changes in our play calling and offensive strategy is very concerning.

And what was our head coach doing when all of this went on - and on and on? Someone needs to take charge of this and Isaac certainly will not.

Jerry has shown spots of really good play early and the possibility of a turn-around is certainly there - Isaac, on the other hand. has learned exactly nothing this season and continues to be absolutely horrible - a real millstone for this team - and what's surprising is that our Head Coach has not made any corrections there - he is was bad or worse as the season progressed - The Bison game was his "masterpiece" of ineptness. I think we will get more of the same from him.

So - what's your assessment of our 5 losses? Mine is that they were directly on the coaching staff.

This should be on the HC - he let the OC call the same stupid ass game that he did at the beginning of the season - absolutely coaching malpractice and this cost us big time.

The most frustrating season I can remember - and in a world where Mussman and Bubba walked the earth that is saying something - We pissed away every game we lost - the OC learned nothing this season and the HC let him go on - We are not winners - The QB and offense regressed - Our program is a joke and has been for a long while - We need to clean house and start again - it has nothing to do with getting more players in - we had the talent to win every game yet went 0-5 in game against tough teams and which we should have won.

It was all night against the Bison.

What concerns me is that our OC has shown he has absolutely no capacity to learn or change. If anything he's gotten worse over the last half of the season. The HC needs to have words with him.

Excellent analysis - however I'm not confident about any course corrections - our OC has not learned a thing throughout the season - if anything he's gotten worse. I don't see the lightbulb in his head going on anytime soon - and if our HC was going to change anything there it would have been done by now. A new OC is the only solution. Jerry has also regressed this season - not sure why or what the solution is. We are stuck with our kicking personnel and just have to hope for the best. I honestly thought one thing that would improve from Bubba's regime would be in-game play calling and management - but I was wrong. We pissed away 3 games against tough opponents that we should have won. We have fantastic defense - definitely an upgrade in both personnel and schemes from last year. Time for our HC to earn his paycheck and make some tough changes. We should be able to win the last two if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot again.

His first big challenge as Head Coach - will he do it or not?

Schmidt is currently only as good as his OC and Special Teams Coaches are during game time and that is not good enough. HIs hires - his responsibility.

After a night's sleep this loss burns even more - How many games can our OC lose for us? Coaching malpractice. I thought our in-game decisions would be much better this year but I was wrong.

If we are not looking for new OC and Special Teams coaches next year then we should be looking for 3 new coaches. Play calling and special teams play have cost us 3 games so far this year.

His body of work scream that he doesn't get it and never will.

Squarely on the coaches - again - first and goal on the two - 3 stupid calls and a missed fg - pound the rock you idiots - the third game pissed away by the coaching staff. Time to clean house again/ And against the Bison this one really burns. We need winners.

He should only be 30 miles from Vermillion by now.

First and goal on the two and nada - if UND isn't looking for two position coaches next year we should be looking for 3 coaches - no excuse and we have already pissed away two wins against top teams.

I feel like I've woken up from a dream that it was 2025 and discovered it was really UND Sport's 2024 season.

We need a ladder to climb out of the basement then - bonehead plays kill us again. Remember when we talked about getting back to Fighting Sioux hockey - and where is the vaunted defense - our All American is playing like he's the only player on the ice - again. I expected better from us.

Let's make them stand for something again

When we talked about going back to Old Time Sioux Hockey I thought we would go back further than one year. This crap is getting old. We'll see what the coaches and team are made of in the next two weeks.
