When this whole thing with the NCAA started, it was us against them...now we have a bunch of sub-groups, each with their own agenda...we got nickname savers, nickname haters, hockey only, UND only, power hungry, pro UND that never attended the school, outspoken alumni, big fat liars, the misinformed, and the just plain stupid...I'm pretty sure I fall into the last two categories at the very least.. I'm looking forward when we will just be UND again...end of rant...

West Hall was fun back then..Fridays we would go to Buck pitchers at the Spud from 2:30-5:30, then to Wilkerson for a little food service and then head over to the arena to watch the ass whipping. (how they lost to US International I'll never understand). Then off to the East side for more fun...good times...

Agreed that it is a tough transition...I just think if Kelley would have acknowledged what the symbol meant to the University he may have built up a little "credit" during the transition. By not hearing anything from him on it I don't know if he fails to understand the importance of the name to people or just doesn't care.

Totally agree. The whole transition away from the nickname was going to be done with respect to the Sioux name, etc. and that just didn't happen. Kelley deserves to get some heat for this.
