  1. I agree that we should be set at guard for the next few years (although I wish we had more size there) and we should be set at the 5 as well. However, we need to find a couple of bangers at the 4 or our rebounding challenges will continue. I don't think there are any on the current roster and we don't have scholarship $ available to go find any (unless someone doesn't return).
  2. We are up 31-30 at halftime vs. ISU despite 10 first half turnovers. 15 of ISU's 31 points have come off of those TOs.
  3. The ladies were very fortunate to win a close one tonight 57-54 over WSU. We were down by 8 at the half but were ahead by 9 with 0:38 left. Then a few of our 26 TOs allowed Weber to pull within 1 with four seconds left. Loyd had 4 points and 3 rebounds for the game. I never thought we would see those types of numbers from her! She had some early foul trouble but just didn't play well. Bottom line - we won, now on to ISU.
  4. Probably don't need to worry about it as they are only averaging about 560 per game. It is doubtful their attendance would double if they hosted the tourney.
  5. Why do you egg him on? Most of us have absolutely no interest in what he (or most SU fans who visit this site) has to say!!
  6. Corrected!
  7. We had a lot of kids (in addition to Mollberg, Bartels, Simmons, etc.) with serious injuries last fall. Do we know how they are doing? Ready for spring ball, etc.?
  8. New offer: DT Ashton Elmore, 6'1", 290, 4.9, Sun Prairie (Vermillon CC), WI Has offers from Ball St, CMU, FAU, NM & UTEP
  9. Is he leaving because his injury was career-ending?
  10. Former UND BB player, John Burckhard, died this week. Condolences to his family. He played with the Jackson teams in the early 60's. We could use someone like him today - a big bruiser from Devils Lake that no one pushed around!
  11. Were we ever recruiting them?
  12. Welcome - we are glad your son has opted to continue his FB career at UND. We feel that, after a few tough years, the program is headed in the right direction. I am sure that Kevin will be a big contributor while enjoying his time in Grand Forks!
  13. UND had apparently offered Richard King, a 6'5", 250 DE from Aurora, CO. He has verballed to CSU.
  14. Nice comeback by the ladies in the 2nd half to win by 10 at UNC. They made 31 of 34 FT attempts - strong!!
  15. Correct, he has only received an offer. It is not known if he will visit campus.
  16. New offer: S Christian Angulo, 6'2", 180, Gibsonton (East Bay), FL Has offers from E KY and Toledo (visiting Toledo this weekend)
  17. Visitors 1/17: Carter Blackwell – WR – Dickinson, ND (UND Commit) Mason Bennett – OLB – Winnipeg, MB (UND Commit) John Santiago – RB – St. Francis, MN (UND Commit) Tyus Carter – CB – Greenwood Village, CO (Cherry Creek HS) Tim Dulin – WR – Livonia, MI (Churchhill HS) , Keith Key – OLB – Columbus, OH (Bishop Hartley HS) ***************** There may be some added benefits to landing Key. His dad played for Ohio State and recently donated $1 million to OSU. He is the President and CEO of a real estate development company that focuses on Columbus and Pittsburgh, Key's home town. The son (6'4", 225) has an offer from IN St. Interestingly, Rivals lists him as a TE, 247 has him as a TE & DE while HUDL lists him as an WR & OLB.
  18. Who are you referring to?
  19. Fully agree!
  20. Update?
  21. What DTV station has tonight's game?
  22. Offeree S Afolabi Laguda is headed to CO.
  23. But they now moving some things back to Phase 2 as the cost of construction and construction materials are increasing rather rapidly. This is why I had hoped those of us on SS.com would help fund something originally scheduled for Phase 1 that is being pushed back due to lack of funds.
  24. So she is a traditional post player? Hoops - thanks for the clip (unfortunately, it won't open for me). Is she solidly built? She must be athletic - able to run the floor well?
  25. Alexis Klabo got off to a good start to the season last night scoring 34 with 14 boards against Wahpeton. Is she a true post player? Mobile? If someone could provide some insight into her game, it would be appreciated.
