  1. But they now moving some things back to Phase 2 as the cost of construction and construction materials are increasing rather rapidly. This is why I had hoped those of us on SS.com would help fund something originally scheduled for Phase 1 that is being pushed back due to lack of funds.
  2. So she is a traditional post player? Hoops - thanks for the clip (unfortunately, it won't open for me). Is she solidly built? She must be athletic - able to run the floor well?
  3. Alexis Klabo got off to a good start to the season last night scoring 34 with 14 boards against Wahpeton. Is she a true post player? Mobile? If someone could provide some insight into her game, it would be appreciated.
  4. She left the program - I think she realized that DI was probably beyond her ability. I don't know if she is playing somewhere else.
  5. Unfortunately, this performance isn't going to bring the casual fans back to the Betty this year!
  6. WAY too many unforced turnovers!!
  7. Positive comments from a Canadian LB who was offered over the weekend: Troy Hansen @troyhansen333 Shout out to UND for the awesome official visit and scholarship ship offer had a blast @MILKYCARAMEL014
  8. I agree - that is very odd. Certainly will not help their recruiting!
  9. While I agree that those ladies "can" hit a 3, no one has proven they can consistently do so. We have made 27 this year compared to the opponents' 57. While we won on Saturday, that could easily been one of those "when necessary" situations. We were 0 for 7 while SU made 9. I am not saying we should become a team that relies on the 3, we just need to be able for it to be more of a threat. That would help open up the inside so we can better take advantage of our strength.
  10. Are there any 3 point shooters in the '15 class?
  11. New offer to another JC safety with great size/speed: Zach Arnell, 6'3", 195, 4.45, San Diego (Santa Barbara CC)
  12. Just glad you are going - wear any UND stuff you want. I hope a bunch of other potential fans check out this game as well!
  13. Coaches obviously can't publicly talk about commitments or specific recruits before NLIs are signed but is there are problem with a coach "hinting" about commitments on-line -- even if they don't specifically mention names, etc.? Apparently, this is OK or our staff wouldn't be doing it.
  14. Fully agree - if we had a couple ladies who could consistently knock down threes, we could be really good. I think Strand will likely become fairly consistent with threes but not sure if anyone else will develop a long ball. Lauck had the ability in the past; hopefully, she can get it going again. I don't know enough about the incoming freshmen next year - I hope this group has a couple scorers from the o/s. I would guess USD will again show us the advantage of having a few long range scorers.
  15. Thanks for the report - good to hear they both played well!!
  16. Do we know who this was?
  17. I have moved Camy to the committed list on Wiki but will wait until further confirmation on Georges.
  18. A win is great but we were very lucky - it appeared we would lose to another not very good team!!
  19. Now that we gotten rid of "Fighting Sioux", he may be more inclined to do something of consequence for UND.
  20. Has anyone seen Shanks in practice? I hope we aren't expecting too much too soon from him!
  21. Wow - very disappointing! I also wish her the best of luck.
  22. The official capacity was 4,500; however, attendance was often well into the 5,000's. We led the nation with 4,943 in '91-'92. I think the highest attendance reported was about 6,100.
  23. Interestingly, the Adams kid from Laney College is only a freshman. I suppose he may be a qualifier who could transfer right away. HUDL has him at 6'3", 220 (great size for a S) while the Laney roster has him at 6'2", 200.
  24. I am quite sure they were not related. Rick grew up in Lakota and transferred to Shanley for his senior year (for football). Marv was from Luverne, MN and went to Macalaster.
  25. New offer: WR Bryson Martinez, 6'2", 190, Farmington (Pierce CC, CA), NM Has offers from San Diego, NM & C CN St
