I was wondering the same thing - I have been following our FB recruiting for many, many years. I don't remember a year when we didn't land someone from WI!
-
He indicated that they trust their evaluations and they don't really care if a kid was offered by others. We offer kids that they feel will fit our program and contribute!
-
Agree -I asked the question and that is exactly the answer I was hoping to hear!!

Mid-year update on our three HS recruits: Player Team Record Ave FG% 3-PT FG% FT% Seales 12-3 18.6 54 52 79 McDermott 8-6 16.8 46 45 88 Collins 13-2 9.5 Some very good shooting %s for Seales and McDermott. We certainly need players who can hit the 3 and shoot FTs well. I wasn't able to get detailed stats on Collins. He obviously isn't scoring a great deal but he plays on a team with two studs, scoring 10/game isn't bad. I would guess that both McDermott and Collins will redshirt next year.

I hope (and assume) that we are pursuing Amani Hooker, Quinton's younger brother. A junior, he is a highly regarding safety prospect at Park Center.
-
I don't think we were ever in the running but offeree safety Bret Verstegen, Kimberly, WI has verballed to the Badgers.
-
Junker is a 5'11', 165 WR/CB - can't find much else about him!
-
I agree that we should be set at guard for the next few years (although I wish we had more size there) and we should be set at the 5 as well. However, we need to find a couple of bangers at the 4 or our rebounding challenges will continue. I don't think there are any on the current roster and we don't have scholarship $ available to go find any (unless someone doesn't return).

We are up 31-30 at halftime vs. ISU despite 10 first half turnovers. 15 of ISU's 31 points have come off of those TOs.
-
The ladies were very fortunate to win a close one tonight 57-54 over WSU. We were down by 8 at the half but were ahead by 9 with 0:38 left. Then a few of our 26 TOs allowed Weber to pull within 1 with four seconds left. Loyd had 4 points and 3 rebounds for the game. I never thought we would see those types of numbers from her! She had some early foul trouble but just didn't play well. Bottom line - we won, now on to ISU.
-
Probably don't need to worry about it as they are only averaging about 560 per game. It is doubtful their attendance would double if they hosted the tourney.
-
Why do you egg him on? Most of us have absolutely no interest in what he (or most SU fans who visit this site) has to say!!
-
We had a lot of kids (in addition to Mollberg, Bartels, Simmons, etc.) with serious injuries last fall. Do we know how they are doing? Ready for spring ball, etc.?
-
New offer: DT Ashton Elmore, 6'1", 290, 4.9, Sun Prairie (Vermillon CC), WI Has offers from Ball St, CMU, FAU, NM & UTEP
-
Is he leaving because his injury was career-ending?
-
Former UND BB player, John Burckhard, died this week. Condolences to his family. He played with the Jackson teams in the early 60's. We could use someone like him today - a big bruiser from Devils Lake that no one pushed around!
-
Were we ever recruiting them?
-
Welcome - we are glad your son has opted to continue his FB career at UND. We feel that, after a few tough years, the program is headed in the right direction. I am sure that Kevin will be a big contributor while enjoying his time in Grand Forks!
-
UND had apparently offered Richard King, a 6'5", 250 DE from Aurora, CO. He has verballed to CSU.
-
Nice comeback by the ladies in the 2nd half to win by 10 at UNC. They made 31 of 34 FT attempts - strong!!
-
Correct, he has only received an offer. It is not known if he will visit campus.

New offer: S Christian Angulo, 6'2", 180, Gibsonton (East Bay), FL Has offers from E KY and Toledo (visiting Toledo this weekend)
