  1. For those who are interested, a bunch of new "players of interest" have been added to Wiki.
  2. No. 17: WR Matt Harris, 6', 170, Lagrange, IL also has offer from Toledo.
  3. The 16th offer (that we are aware of): Charles Melka, a 6'4", 230 DE from Lisle, IL
  4. Sounds like we might have landed a good one here. He was probably too small to get much attention down there. I am sure he will add 20-25 pounds by the time he plays his first game after redshirting.
  5. The other one may be Dan Bell from Memonomee Falls - not sure if we talked about him earlier. I added him to Wiki last night.
  6. Sorry - I missed that, wasn't aware that he had been offered. We sure have a bunch of offers out there already and I assume there are more that we aren't aware of.
  7. He has been there - look down near the bottom of the list.
  8. Another offer: OL Chad Fahning, 6'7”, 276, St. Paul, (De La Salle), MN
  9. Got it - thanks! Haven't heard if they are broadcasting all games. I hope so.
  10. Agree - that would be great. Are there any radio stations broadcasting the tourney who are available on the internet?
  11. d I haven't seen Kroeplin play but I have heard that he needs to work on his left hand! Who has seen him play? Is that fact?
  12. I have recently watched some YouTube videos of North Star's recent games (including the one with Warwick). Unbelieveable shooting by both teams. 92,96 - You didn't mention Arvidson, I am told that he has the best chance to play DI ball. However, with Hagler only being a junior, who knows! Grande is also a stud on that team - and only a junior!
  13. I am curious what some of the former (or current) coaches on this board think about the free throw issue. I agree that it is the kids who are standing at the line and they must make the shots. My experience tells me that coaching can and should help address a player's confidence level in making FTs. Isn't it similar to a player (in most any sport) who really plays well or relatively well in certain aspects of a game in practice but struggles in games? They need confidence instilled in them that they can perform similarly in game situations. I may be wrong on this one - would be very interested in hearing from some coaches.
  14. Many, many years ago my junior high team in a small town in ND made 29 of 30 FTs in a game (glad I wasn't the one who missed the one!). That was a fluke but, as you said, UND's efforts this year (not just yesterday) has been truly embarrassing. As I orated above, this is the least disciplined team I have ever seen at UND. Too many dumb fouls at dumb times, dumb shots, lack of leadership on and off the court, etc. The post-game comment (made twice in the last week) which stated the team's goal (from the start of the season) this year was to have a winning record tells much of the story. After finishing 19-15 last year, why would a coach readily talk about being satisfied with a winning season? To me is shows lack of leadership and motivation.
  15. I have been watching UND basketball for many, many years. This is by far the least disciplined team we have ever had!
  16. Mitchell has picked up more fouls on moving screens than any player to have played at UND.
  17. We are ahead by 5 and are 1-10 at FT line
