I'm sure WPoS will be really glad to hear that. See WPoS is a real fan, and a genuine person. You are lower than that black crap under the rim of your toilet, that no matter how hard you scrub it doesn't come off. That's where you are in the whole scheme of things.
-
And an even bigger disgrace yet is the fact that turds like you are allowed to roam the earth freely, with the rest of us.
-
He would have if one of those players had grabbed him by his scrawny computer geek neck.
-
All I can say is that this guy is a disgrace to the real gopher fans and to the gopher hockey team. And that is not meant to be funny in any way.
-
.............and those are just the good things about me. Seriously, sometimes the official bashing gets ALMOST as old as raynman03's Hackstol bashing.
-
Just wait a few years when most of these "kids" have graduated and are sitting in other seats in the arena, I'd bet anything their point of view is going to change, especially if they are bringing their kids to the games.
-
Don't hammer on me to hard for this, but I'm wondering one thing. Has there ever been a game where the officiating met anyones expectations ? It just seems to me that every game win or lose it's always the same complaints about officials. I know some calls get botched, however blaming officials seems too easy of a target sometimes. I hardly think it's any referee's fault that we lead the nation in checking from behind calls, for example. Go ahead let the smearing begin.

If gk and ktf were as concerned about this issue as they claim to be, they wouldn't painstakingly seperate themselves from the name change movement as a whole, ie. they would be concerned with other institutions as well. Aren't these "alleged atrocities" affecting all native americans. Someone has pointed it out before, but it seems to me that gk, and ktf have more of an axe to grind with UND specifically. My point is, if they really wanted a change for the better, they would be more concerned with the issue nationwide, changing one name isn't going to help the plight of native americans elsewhere. It just goes to show just how selfish they really are, and they wonder why their credibility is almost zero.

There are alot of these guys that grow up with teammates, and dream of winning a Minnesota Hockey championship. Something that very few actually achieve, considering the number of kids that play hockey. I'm sure Mr. Lee would have loved to cap off his career at Moorehead with a state title, and TJ went 2-3 which I'm sure he wouldn't trade for anything.
-
Depending on the circumstances, not all players go to juniors. Oshie and Lee only played limited games with their respective USHL teams. They may be exceptions to the rule, but sometimes players can make the jump without juniors. Moorehead and Warroad were very talent-laden teams last year, it will be interesting to see what happens, as neither of them are dominant powerhouses this year.

Tell me where I am wrong I would Love to here from you.

Yeah, but it still gives you somewhat of an idea where these guys sit with these scouts, NHL teams, ect. Nothing here is carved in stone, obviously, there are other things to take into consideration. Combine camps, 2nd half of the season play, stepping up to win big games in the playoffs, these can all affect draft order closer to draft day.

Stuff like that I would consider more good natured ribbing, and part of a rivalry, it would be more arrogant if it wasn't true. But the Hirsch and Bina signs are just completely out of line. Making fun of an athelete for any injury, be it emotional, or physical is just plain disgusting. There's just no need for it.
-
Boy are you ever grasping at straws. I'd hate to think something as simple as 7>5 is offensive. However the Hirsch stuff is out of line.

The black jersey's rule. Nothing screams in-your-face-attitude quite like a black jersey. Hey it's worked for the Oakland Raiders for a long time, even when they are not having the best year, you know when you see the silver and black the attitude comes with it.

I will say this about the Mankato series. With all due respect to the Mavericks, it's time we gave someone a good old whippin' at the Ralph. We need to come out strong this weekend and keep rolling right on through to Milwaukie. That means a 60 minute effort every night from the entire lineup. I know these guys can do it. One game at a time and just keep building a head of steam right to the FF. That includes going to denver and taking two from those punks, as I believe the wheels are starting to come off down there. A split with CC would be just fine.

[ I would like us to pick up Aaron Marvin for 2007. He's one of the better players from Minny and reminds me a little of Michael Forney.
-
Hey slap, so here you are before the games even start. Trying to establish some credibilty for yourself when you show up later to gloat ? You are right about one thing. I did say he passed up scoring chances, and he did. As far as him doing anything right for me or anyone else, I guess scouting services, and respected hockey analysts views of your boy just don't mean squat to you. Even pa and dubay can't figure out the hype, and those are your guys. But hey just keep up the good fight, someday someone may listen. Like I've said before, don't blame us because he hasn't lived up to the expectations placed on him by USA Hockey, scouts, fans, ect., that's not our fault. Oh well, you can have him.
-
I guess I'm all for the officials allowing goals when players are camped in the crease like stoa was. BUT, by the same token, they should then show tolerance for other players trying to clear these idiots out that are just trying to take advantage of a loosley interpreted rule. Basically, stand in the crease, pay the price, I know this scenario is far-fetched, but that's what happens when officials use poor judgement. I'm usually not one to blame officiating because I think it is too easy of a target. However at times, I do have to question calls that come down to judgement of a particular rule.
-
About what we all expected for lines. I hope if stoa plans on parking in the crease this time that #2 or #27 put out the welcome mat for him, so to speak. Take your chances with the officials calling a penalty, but I hope the boys handle it the way it needs to be handled this time.
-
Agreed.

Sagaard, I wasn't wrong giving you credit for being a knowledgeable fan now was I . I would hope you would get past stats and put faith into a players performance on the ice. A good example, and one you may not like is Prpch. He does very little scoring, but his value on the PK, and being able to disrupt the opposition is priceless. As for the little digs about TJ not finishing in the WJC. Like I have said many times, your boy passed up shots he damn sure should have taken. So to that, I say, you don't have a chance to score if you don't shoot the puck. It's better to shoot and miss, then not shoot at all, I guess. Also, I don't think Coach Kyle's intentions for TJ were to lead the US in scoring, that spot was held for phil, and borque. I will agree that this will be a good hockey weekend, at least some decent compettion, for both teams. I wish I could be there, and if I was, I would damn sure come up and shake your hand Sagaard.
-
Just like the valuable lesson we all learned from the WJC. Individual performances and stats do great wonders for your team winning championships Go phil go, get those stat sheets "philled up" this weekend.

The call was questionable as no punches were thrown. Had the officials been able to seperate them and get them skating in different directions before they went to the ice I don't think there would have even been a call. Or maybe just a minor each for roughing. I was watching the game, and I think the fact that they went to the ice, the official looked at it as a continuation type of deal, and then made the call. I'm not saying it was the right call, it was real tippy tappy, but the officials may have looked at it like a situation that had gotten too far out of hand once they were on the ice.

That's an awful wimpy name for a band that is made up of hockey players.
