My point was, if they can do it in BBall, why not all sports. One call that sticks out in my mind was the CFB Stafford got earlier in the year, lame, lame, lame. Now last weekend in Colorado the actually used some discretion and only handed out 2 minute minors when necessary, not counting Jonsies.

I noticed where a crew of officials got a one game suspension handed down to them for a questionable call they made in an ACC basketball game. I realize it is not hockey. I only bring it up because it is nice to see these guys having to account for the call they made/didn't make. It would be nice to see this kind of accountability for our officials. I know this is a tired argument and I'm just dreaming that things like this could happen to some of the bumbling idiots we call officials, just wanted to see what everyone else thinks. Not that it matters but the game was Duke vs Florida State, sorry if this has been brought up elsewhere.

Having a fan like buckysucks is definitely more punishment than any team deserves.

Sioux-Habit rules. I for one enjoy his posts, which is probably no suprise to anyone. The whole deal is, he does know hockey, probably better than most who post here.

NDH is a stand up guy. Me on the other hand, I'm an eh-es-es-hole, and I've admitted it several times. It's the first step toward recovery.

And this is exactly what I mean about carrying the team on your back, that's exactly what TJ did in that game, and when it came down to crunch time, he made a big time play. I was at that game. Now I have to ask myself, who is going to carry this team ?

Dags, I'm not saying that he's not doing the job, merely pointing out that he needs to be exceptional in his role to do what he can to fire these guys up, that's all. I agree that he has been good, but we need a STRONG leader now more than ever.

Someone needs to put this team on their back and carry them, starting tonight. Here is my list of those possible candidates. First, #18, he needs to be stellar from here on in, this team really needs an effort from him. Second, #'s 11 and 15, they need to find some of the magic they had in last year's late season run. Third, #27, he needs to pull the team together and get them all going the same direction, that is why he is wearing the "Big C", it's more than just another letter to clutter up your pretty jersey. If these guys don't get the job done, the only hope we have is that #7, and #9 finish the year strong and set the tone for the future, which may be short for them. (That's not to say that we don't need these two to come up big, from here on out, cause we do).

Bottom line, win, there is no other option at this point. No splits, no being swept, win and win only, it's that simple. How that gets accomplished I don't really care, there is no more tomorrow.

Are you illiterate or just blind, the thread says KESSEL in Madison. And for the record I never excused Lammy or Chorney for their stupidity. What amazes me is all of the goophies admonishing Lammy and Chorney, yet they say that phil and danny-boy had every right to do what the did, because they were "picked on" or whatever other dumb excuse you want to use to justify. Get it through your heads, if it is wrong for one, it is wrong for ALL, how hard is that to understand. I highly doubt that the spitting incident occured, if it did, they could easily find the culprit, let's just say security at the Ralph is better than we think.
