  1. Are you at practice on a daily basis? Do you sit in the locker room? You see, you really have no clue as to what value Kyle brings to this hockey team. The best thing would be for you to shut your mouth or else keep proving your stupidity to everyone on this board. Give all the free passes to the players you choose, but the fact fact remains that stupid penalties by Porter cost us a shot at the last two NC's. They were momentum killers, and nothing he or anyone else did made up for them or cancelled them out. And by the way, at that point in his Sioux career, Porter should have damn well known better.
  2. OK then, how about Chris Porter, the king of stupid penalties in the last two Frozen Fours. I suppose he gets a pass from all of the "experts" because he was a good hard working guy and brought more to the game than Radke does. It's funny now that Prpich is no longer here that people hold him in such high regard. Rewind a couple years and look at what some of you guys were saying about him and his stupid penalties. I don't care what else a player brings to the game, a stupid or untimely(and stupid) penalty, does not get offset by something else you may or may not do. The fact remains that it is a stupid penalty and could be costly. But hey, justify it to youselves however you want.
  3. I pretty sure Prpich was a healthy scratch for a home game a couple years back. I think it had something to do with "on ice discipline." Sometimes your emotions get the best of you, but whatever the case may be I hope we see KR in the lineup. I think we really need him.
  4. So what. The Sioux have always had players like him, remember Prpich, how about Archie. I'm sorry, but against a team like aa, or mankato, I'll take a Kyle Radke in the lineup before a Martens or a Miller. Simply because of the physical presence he brings.
  5. That's bull$%!#. There are times when you need a Kyle Radke in your lineup. Saturday night in wisco is a good example of that. How many times did our guys (Oshie, Duncs, ect.) have to be the victims of cheap shots before it was too much. Insert a player like kyle and at least you have some kind of physical presence on the ice to help out our boys. I like the grit Radke brings to our lineup, he is as important as anyone else on this team in my opinion.
  6. The Sioux have experimented with a 1-2-2 set a few times this season. I saw it saturday night down in Wisco. Though most of the time they are run and gun, it doesn't hurt to be able to slow things down a bit, like when protecting a lead.
  7. I've mentioned this before, but how about getting some of the players to go on the radio stations and talk about this. I'm pretty sure that they would like nothing more than have a sea of green/white out there, especially for the goophs series. After talking to some of the guys last weekend in madtown, they all mentioned how the fans really get into it. I bet if you went to the right people you could get a couple them to help out with this by mentioning it on the radio or something.
  8. Suprise! Like Ozzy always says: "let the madness begin."
  9. Stay out of the nudie bars.
  10. What?
  11. Well, just cause YOU know him does not make him a better goalie, sorry.
  12. You should start taking some of your own advice, especially when it comes to people that YOU DON'T KNOW.
  13. Yeah, I like the Devils as well. Like I said earlier about AG, he's gone, good luck, now on with the season. That should be enough said about the topic.
  14. I'm actually a Sabres fan, but with so many of the past and present Sioux players (as well as other WCHA players) going to the Blues organization I am becoming a fan of them. The Blues are building a hell of a team, I think they will be back to the playoffs for years to come.
  15. That would be "new version" blues logo. I think the babysitter must have fell asleep, and one of the kiddies got the computer turned on...
  16. I'm glad you and diggler find it amusing that I don't know (or really care) how to spell sophie-sofa-sophia's name. Like I said, in the grand scheme of things that guy means nothing. Who cares if he helped out the womans hockey team, maybe he should have played for them, he might have actually been competitive then.
  17. The whole truth is that sophie(sofie) is so insignifigant in the grand scheme of things that only one or two people even care how others' spell his name.
  18. You really need some help.
  19. Please seek help. You have more personalities than Cybil.
  20. Only an idiot would look at sophies stats and call him legit. If he was so legit, why so little playing time, and why only 2 seasons. I may be an idiot, but at least I'm smart enough to see that sophie=non legit D1 college hockey goalie.
  21. Oops, my bad.
  22. Yes, Sophie was so legit. According to the stat sheets in 00-01 he played about 30 minutes, had a goals against average of 4.02, and a .778 save %. In 01-02 he registered 64 minutes with a goals against average of 3.73 and a .789 save %. All of this in just two seasons! WOW. (These are the stats right off of the university's web site.)
  23. Agreed. Saturday's perfomance was sub-par. Friday night in Houghton was not. That's why saying every game we have lost thus far has been a poor performance is completely false (not talking about you dags, but what siouxpuckster alluded to earlier.)
  24. We dominated every aspect of the game friday night at mich. tech, and we still lost. I don't get what you're trying to say.
  25. Bottom line, AG is gone. Good luck. Now let's move on with the rest of the season.
