IMO the students should be at the end of the rink and should be entitled to stand the entire game if they so choose. Obviously the swearing and that stuff is not good but how are you going to stop it? Are they going to start kicking anyone who swears or shows bad sportsmanship out of the game? Answer me this, is this problem really that bad? Does there really need to be a change? What do you guys think?

Wow, I shouldn't even respond to that post as there are too many stupid comments in there! But... I will... 1) I never said he was a "great" coach, but I think he has done well at UND. If you believe UND is a basketball powerhouse and should be in the NCAAs every year then obviously you would feel differently. 2)I don't know why Jack Nicholson would throw golf clubs, I would think he would be too busy acting? 3)I'm not sure how you validate saying that he "is outcoached almost every game in the NCC and NSIC" but I'm assuming you are quite a "basketball mind" and can clear that up for me. If it has something to do with players going on cold streaks and not playing up to their potential, which I have seen, then I would not criticize Coach Glas.

IMO the Big House vs OSU would be the best. I've seen games at Neb, Wisco, and Fla and my fav was Fla, but I'm a huge Gator fan. Neb is awesome because of all the fans and everyone just loves the Huskers and Wisco is great because of the students and the bars afterward. The atmosphere at these games is like UM-UND times x 5. Although I still love making that seeries any chance I can! Given a choice of any sporting event I could go to it would prob. be the Masters though!

Looks as though the staff has set themselves up with a good class. Hope they have a great year next year and shut up all those who continually gripe about Coach Glas. 3 of the last 6 seasons with 20 wins is pretty darn impressive!

The thread we are on right now is not inflammatory one bit! I'm sorry some people mistook it that way and I hope my previous post clears that up. Do you guys honestly disagree with my statement about the long arm of the REA? One instance: Look at the basketball team being forced to play in the REA when they don't want to!

Thanks for the info, it would be interesting to see the numbers on the REA and what they turned over to UND. I just found out that they are actually beginning to do an overhaul at the REA via a telephone call from another SS.com viewer. I'm not here to crucify anyone, just find out what is going on.

I was reading an article on coaches salaries on espn.com and was wondering what college hockey coaches make. Just wanted to compare. I guess this was a very hot topic for many people here and emotions quickly spilled over. Just looking for some insight, thanks.
