Was at Corner, and then post game at the Ground Round. The Corner went nuts when they mentioned it during the broadcast. Paying for it today . . . b ut what a night. Now, I'm ready for my second FF (after going two years ago).

Just got back from a local Bemidji bar. It was a blast watching BSU win two in a row. I thought BSU would give give ND a tough game and was stunned with the win. Now BSU beats a tough, grinding Cornell team to go to the Frozen Four. What a win for BSU's program status, WCHA, Coach Tom, BSU, BSU players, the BREC and Bemidji fans.

BSU matches up fairly well with the Big Red. BSU has pretty good speed and can hopefully outlast Cornell. It would be a huge win for BSU's program. Off to the official game bar . . . it was a fun night in Bemidji (and helped dampen the afternoon loss). Lets go Beavers!

The NC/John Hopkins lax game on ESPNU just tied with 1:00 left in regulation ( Midwest regional hockey is supposed to be on at 3:00) . . .

Never say never . . . Bemidji vs Nortre Dame is on ESPN Classic tonight. Maybe they'll pre-empt the game for an "Instant Classic" VA/MD lax game

BSU has an outstanding first line, but the talent and scoring drop off after that. ND has too much depth for BSU. I think BSU will play them failry close for two and then ND wins by three in the third. I wouldn't be stunned if Serratore pulls out an upset, but I think N D has too many horses for BSU to overcome.

I hear ya. As much as I like the WCHA, I can't cheer for DU . . . UND could have had a nice bracket if they could have won one game last weekend. Oh well, gotta knock em off one by one anyway.
