  1. What!?! Parking is at a premium. I don't know how bad it is west of Columbia Rd but cars pack street parking from University Ave north to 10th Avenue N. and Columbia Rd east to N. 25th St. That doesn't include any parking lots. Next, they're likely going to charge to park in UND owned lots such as the one on University and Columbia. I'm glad I have a parking pass.
  2. Why do you care what we buy? I also bought a Goldie stuffed doll. Does that mean I have an 'obsession' with buying MNtc merchandise?? Ok, so I put a green and white noose around Goldies' neck and green stars over his eys, I still bought it.
  3. NO! I was gabbing with YaneA.
  4. DUH!! Unless they're pulled, broken teeth are injuries which are worse!!!
  5. Cool. I just liked adding the fact to Sixsmith's comments.
  6. http://www.cstv.com/sports/m-hockey/stories/100206aaa.html Holy Cross was picked third in the Atlantic Hockey Association.
  7. I gotta say, I'm a happy fan right now. I hope they keep on keeping on!! See you at the tailgater next Saturday.
  8. All three were signing autographs after the scrimmage. Well not Matt. I heard he wasn't in town but his little brother Zach was there. Zach told me that Matt and his wife had a baby boy this past summer.
  9. Just got back. Great fun. Saw the truants, Avatar and big bro, at the game. I'm so happy it's hockey season, again, finally!
  10. OK, Dirty if you win the chopper, I will trade you my Schneider jersey for it and will get you an Oshie jersey, guaranteed!!! AZSIOUX if you win the chopper, I'll lease you my JPar helmut in exchange for some chopper time! But, no worry, I'm gonna win the chopper!!! The video of the bike does it no justice! In person, that bike is FRIKKIN' AWESOME!!!
  11. MeritCare has banned smoking on it's grounds. Employees, in the winter, smoke in their cars. I don't know how they regulate patient/client/visitsor smoking. Altru has a similar policy but I see what I think are non-employees smoking in front of the hospital all the time. I see their employees smoking under the evergree trees that line their back parking lot. Tough decisions but smoking and second hand smoke do cause significant health problems which can lead to death. Banning smoking is a 'pro-health' statement. But smoking is not against the law and if a person chooses to smoke, they can. Question is where?
  12. Back from the game. It's Hockey Season and I am soooo happy. Robbie was last on the ice and got a great welcome back. I've watched Robbie skate since he was 5 or 6 years old. He and my son skated together from that age through high school. He had a distinctive skating style that always made it easy to identify him on the ice. That style is gone. It's hard to explain but he's got a different 'get up and go' and backward skating style as well as a couple of other changes that are hard to explain. It's great to see him back on the ice. He gave the game his all with no hesitation or 'protective' moves at all. Bishop is wearing 19 now. I miss Prp but Bishop did score. I guess he's worthy. The pre-game tailgating was fun. Small group but it was nice to see and meet all of you who were there. We plan on meeting again next Saturday between the end of football and the start of hockey. Hope to see more of you there
  13. Never, Never, Never!!!! Well, maybe twice a year will a true Chicago Bears fan cheer for either the Vikings or the Packers. And only when they play each other because you either want the Vikings to lose or the Packers to lose!!! During those games, when I'm here (ND), I cheer for the Pack. If I'm in Chicago, I'll cheer for the Vikings. Once, only once, when in Chicago, did I cheer for the Pack when they were playing the Vikes. My nephews almost threw me into a snow bank. No respect for their dear old auntie!!!!
  14. Oh yeah!!!! LET'S GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. WOW!! I picked Chris to wear the big C but Kaip and Toews are a complete surprise! They must be showing a lot of leadership on the ice and off!! Congrats to all!!
  16. Holy Cross!!! Way to come out with a big win!!!! Rutgers still in the top 25!!!! Congratulations!!!!
  17. Careful, I think these girls are around 12/14 yrs old.
  18. I cared for my son's white German Shepard for a year before he took him back. Next to my mutt, he's the best dog ever!! Smart, well trained, and other than a short term problem with skin allergies (reason he lived with me before his boy moved to a non allergenic home) BEAUTIFUL. My mutt, part Lab/German Shepard/Great Pyreness is the absolute BEST!!! He's never killed a gopher but he's killed many a bird he's snuck up on. Ugh!!
  19. Dr. Kupchella was asked by a WDAZ reporter about the cost of the NC$$ ligation to date. He stated what he knew about the costs were just that the bills are being paid as they come in. He went on to say that there is "a pledge to cover the costs what ever it takes". So, to those NDSU fans who are worried about UND's ability to pay for the lawsuit at the expense of moving on to D1, no se precupe, don't worry your little pointy heads about it any more more. It's covered, "whatever it takes". God, I love UND, it's sports, it's alumi and benefactors!!!
  20. OK, I will bring two dozen brats, buns and 'fixings', a card table, paper plates and trash bags. Oh, if you want onions please bring them. I don't eat onions. If you want something else to cook, you can use my grill. I'll figure out a way to get it there. I'll be there to set up between 2 and 2:30.
