Winter of 2006-2007 was unusually warm in Denver which made for poor outdoor skating. A bunch of kids invited Punkobitch to their little pond. When the Punk hit the mushy pond ice, he was faced with a life sized poster of Prpich. Icy cold fear ran down his spine and thru his skates. The kids had hard ice for the rest of the winter.

The Punch and Judy Show

Try putting that on your wife and I bet you won't have to worry about wearing a seatbelt!
-
Not true. Insurance companies are strictly FOR PROFIT! If your wife suffers an injury that results in tens of thousands of dollars because she didn't wear a seat belt, your insurance, and others in your group, rates will go up. The MVA patient's I see in the ER are usually the one's wearing their seat belts. Those that didn't wear their seat belts usually end up in the morgue or are airlifted from the scene to the nearest trauma center.

Ditto. Come baaaaaaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can he go to more than one camp or are they all at the same time? I can't believe he hasn't gotten more offers.

Well then, I guess you'll never know..............

You don't see Kupchella lying to the State's Attorney, the media or the Board. Chapman's lies are a matter of record.

Congratulations!! It's always good to see a WCHA hockey player receive kudos for 'a job well done'. Especially fantastic when it's a cancer surviver. Shows the kid has a strong character as well as great hockey skills.

Arkansas State panel pondering Indians nickname
Sioux-cia replied to star2city's topic in UND Nickname
The NC$$ has said that a namesake tribe's approval is key in keeping an Indian name, logo and, in some cases, mascot. Initially, I thought ASU was screwed because there is no namesake tribe (Indians) to approve their use of the name Indians. BUT, having thought is over some more, I realize that there already is approval for the use of their name, Indians. The Seminoles, Utes, and Chippewas have approved the use of their tribes' names being used as a sports teams name. They're Indians. Therefore, ASU has their approval for the use of Inidans. Seems logical to me. -
OOoooo, for a few seconds, I thought he was hitting on TJ's lil' sis (really, I was hoping it wasn't on TJ)!!!!

OK, be honest now. Was it a job that brought you back? Or, was it really the opportunity to shout, 'Let's go Sioux!', in the best arena in the world, watching the most talented hockey players in the world, play the most exciting sport in the world with the best fans in the world that brought you back to Grand Forks? *did I mention ...IN THE WORLD! *

This resolution was passed in 2001. http://aistm.org/fr.2001.civilized.tribes.htm And then in 2005, http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/200...t-support_x.htm So children, what is the moral of the story? The Native American sports teams names and logos use is dependent on one's own perception/opinion/feeling. Oh, and more important, on who is in charge on any given day.
-
What he fails to say is that UND already has as many or more Native American programs than most institutions of higher education in the country, let alone the State of North Dakota and it's bordering states. How many more does he want!?! AND the money used for the lawsuit is not being deducted from any personal (in my case anyway), educational, state, federal funding originally earmarked for Native American programs. Geeze Louise, when are they going to get it!!!!!!!!! *edited after error pointed out by HockeyMom! Thanks!*

I asked SS.com members who are Sioux Name Change supporters, more than once, "How is the name and logo hurting Sioux Indians? How is the name and logo contributing to their suffering?" They offered no response. Having lived on a Navajo reservation for the past seven and a half months, I can list many reasons that Native Americans are suffering, hurting, etc. A sport team's Native American Indian name and logo is not one of them. I have seen many Navajos displaying 'Red Skins' football clothing, hats, and bumper stickers. It's so easy to throw out, 'we (they) are suffering because of Native American sports names and logos', 'Native American names and logos for sports teams are hostile and abusive', 'Native American sports names and logos result in prejudicial treatment', etc. Where is the proof? http://www.indiancountry.com/content.cfm?id=1096411618 One would think if there was proof a Native American publication such as Indian Country Today would be able to verify those 'claims'.

This recent incident brings points to a whole new group of victims>> the children of these psychopaths. Unless there is some type of intervention to save these poor kids, IMHO, they're doomed.

True but still misleading. I know I want the 'real' facts about something I'm buying. What needs to be said is that those three sig's are missing, not that the players didn't dress. I think folks that want this jersey are holding back until closer to the end of the bidding. At least I hope so, it is a very good cause.

Oooohhh, well that explains why he had all those wet cardboard pieces on his garage floor. Looked like he was putting together a wet jigsaw puzzle.

The Air Force refers to the Stealth Bomber fleet as the D.O.T. line.

I hope this jersey goes for big bucks because this is a great charity. Unless this is a one time game worn jersey, the seller's explanation as to why three of the players autographs aren't on the jersey is misleading. It should be revised by removing the part in parenthesese. While these players did not dress for every game, they did dress and play at least one or more games this season. The only explanation needed is, "the signatures are missing".
