  1. Awesome!!! It's a great spot!
  2. Siouxmama and I (along with our entourage, ) are also in 119, row 21, seats 1-8! This is year five (six?) in the same spot!
  3. I went to see Prp play in New Mexico. It was meet and greet and autograph night. I was wearing a green Sioux jersey, one of Prp's game worns. Konrad Reeder (former SCSU Husky) said, "Always loved that logo" Peter Kennedy (former UMtc) said, "Take off that rag". I took a Navajo friend to the game, she had never been or watched a hockey game before. After going throught the line, she said, "Hockey players are CUTE!" It was all pretty funny.
  4. Congratulations!! I can already tell your a great parent!! PLEASE, when you take your new Sioux fans to the games, have them wear ear protection. Putting your hands over their ears, doesn't protect their hearing. Not pushing any specific product, just posting this link FYI. http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net/ejuearmu.html Check out the SiouxShop for Sioux baby gear!! It's sooooo cute!
  5. Got mine yesterday! The DVD that came with it is basically a commercial. Starting next year, every F5 season ticket holder will get a DVD with hightlights of one decade WCHA hockey, starting with hightlights from the 1950s.
  6. I got a letter last week that the tickets would be mailed out March 5th!!
  7. The he!! with the cops!! Call the Sioux Goon Squad!!
  8. So we say Sioux rather than brave, I don't believe it's disrespectful. If it bothers you, look at it this way... Woodrow W. Keeble
  9. That was hilarious!! The fans kept trying to get those bears over the net and they just kept coming back. Boomerang Bears!!
  10. I love how Eades gave props to Walski. In a team like ours, loaded with stars, guys like Walski tend to get overlooked by the fans. I have to believe that Walski gets a lot of respect from his teammates otherwise it would have been easy for him to leave the program and go elsewhere. Thanks for the link sprig!
  11. Would moving Sioux to the center top help with the 'frame' look?
  12. Got this email an hour ago from the Ralph... We've clinched home ice! The University of North Dakota men's hockey team has clinched home ice for the best-of-three WCHA first round playoffs! Will you be there? 10,000 FREE pairs of Fighting Sioux Thundersticks will be given to fans Friday, March 14, to help cheer green to victory! Get your adult ticket packages for the series for $40. 13. AZ is right. The NC$$ frowns on any hint of impropriety by a student and we're already on their $hit list!!
  14. I'm convinced, it's true!! You can't fix stupid! *shakes head and walks away*
  15. Sexism is ok on an anonymous forum? When the men get into a 'brawl' we applaud them. They're sticking up for each other, the're not accepting cheap shots on themselves or their teammates, we accept the physical aspect of the men's program and cheer them on. And as for the women? It's 'That time of the month'. Gotcha.....
  16. Well said! I want to add 'That time of the month' is still used as a reason (unsaid but there) to prevent women in certain careers to be promoted. It demeans a woman's worth when 'That time of the month' is used as an excuse or reason for emotion, action or behavior from a woman by either a man or a woman. It's only a 'lighthearted joke' when it doesn't affect you, same as any racial 'joke' doesn't mean any harm.
  17. Not funny and very disrespectful to women, junior! You owe all the women on this forum an apology!!
  18. Right after I sell you my 'extra' Prp jersey for $12.00.
  19. Great for him to start a game and get the shut out! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
  20. T.J. has talent, physicality, strenght, incredible instinct, personality, humility, and is a great ambassador for UND. I hope the Hobey committee looks at all of it and looks at the other candidates 'indiscretions' and realize that T.J. is indeed, the perfect Hobey Baker recipient for 2008!! T.J. and Jonny are both very talented young men with different styles. On the ice, T.J. looks more like the work horse he is, using his skills in a visibly more physical way while Jonny displays his skills in a smoother, effortless looking manner. Fighting Sioux fans have been honored to have both these young men play for our program. Having T.J. an extra year is indeed a blessing!! While we have/have had these 'stars', we can't overlook the tremendous amount of talent on the team without which these boys could not have shone so brightly!
  21. I totally appreciate all that you do, Jim!! Thanks so much for this forum!!!!
  22. NEVER, EVER take any game for granted!!
