You guys always try to compare yourselves to us and fail miserably every time. Did you see the 20 or 25 thousand Bison fans at the Dome for the MN game? Twice! We had 15,800 at the SUU game - so you're using that to explain your poor attendance this year? We're sold out for every game this year and we have more people tailgating than you average per fb game. I've talked to lots of hockey fans and they all say there are lots of open seats when playing bottom teams.

Wining one game doesn't necessarily mean anything but at that time you were better. Do you think Alaska is better than your hockey team since they won on Saturday?

Travel and listening/viewing for fans not to mention players are a bitch for central time zone teams that have to go to the west coast.

Playoffs usually tell you the most about conferences. Next year SDSU goes in the Alerus and that should tell us something too. SDSU will be very good next year.

Not sure that NAU is the real deal. Wouldn't surprise me that you guys take them down. But if NAU does win they're in the playoffs - the rest of their schedule is fairly easy except for Poly.

Agree I don't know why darell brings it up all the time. NDSU has the financial resources to bring a OOC team and at this time you guys will have more of a problem than we will. That's just a fact.

We'll see who schedules a DII team first - does this year count?

Yeah I'll give you the 90's but all the games were close. But if for not for the reductions I think we retain the edge. An example is Mike Moony quote after UND won said he would have been at NDSU but they were out of scholarships. He turned out to be a star player for you guys and bone head move on Rocky's part. After the reduction to 36 a lot of NAIA and DIII schools jumped in and it really watered down the division. You have to get to the point when you put in the 2's you don't notice any drop in performance. After the Delta State BS that's when NDSU decided for sure to jump to I-AA.

Your opinion - but as some Sioux backers told me back in the day was Roger recruited & designed his D to stop the veer (NDSU). He knew that the way to the playoffs went through them. Smart on his part. Recruiting was made easiler when they reduced the scholarships down from 46 as a lot of NDSU's would be recruits went to other teams. Makes a big difference as you have to pick correctly with only 36 scholarships.

That game was a complete waste of time for the team. They didn't learn anything from it. The biggest thing about the Mines game is it isn't a counter. With all the high hopes on this board that could come back to haunt you.
