We all saw what happened when Schneider had to play against better talent at the world juniors as well. I am sure he is a decent goalie but he is not nor will he ever be an Elliot or Miller.

If I am BC I am extremely nervous about how many penalties will be called. When you consider what the DOT line has done to other teams recently, they have every reason to be. I don't think their big pylons will be able to keep the DOT line in check without taking penalties. Therefore, we'll see who looks up at who.

So which Ramone do you sound like.

This post explains exactly why the Sioux were tanking their games between the Maine series and Christmas. When the season is over ask Oshie just how badly broken his thumb really was and you will all understand why his scoring touch didn't return until late in the season. Limit the weak goals, D breakdowns and dumb penalties and this team is ready to defeat the remaining three teams. Go Sioux

Did anyone get any new info regarding Trupp's medical condition?

Hopefully the medical condition that kept him out of the lineup is something simple like the flu. http://www.pentictonwesternnews.com/portal...61716&more=

SIOUX - EAGLES - BLACKBEARS - SPARTANS, Frozen 4 thoughts, prediction

Won't he be surprised when Bina looks straight in the eye before crushing him. -
If they did, could you fit into a Mayville Game Worn Jersey.

This thread has migrated from discussing consolation for the poor Gophers to the trials and tribulations of Squirt hockey. Interesting correlation perhaps.

Just as in the Pros it is very difficult to say one line was better than another when comparing different eras. NCAA goaltending has improved immensely and there is much more lineup parity across the board. You don't see very many 10-1 blowouts of pylons anymore and the top talent bolts early, so of course today's lines won't rack up the same number of points as the lines of 20-30 years ago. I have followed the WCHA for a very long time and I am convinced that, despite some of the earlier talent that wore the Kelly Green, the most talented and complete Sioux forwards I have witnessed to date have been Parise and Toews. As an aside Patrick still gets my vote as the greatest blueliner of all time so you can't blame my choices on a failing memory.

If you really want to watch them spin and lather just wear a Hockey Canada cap with your Sioux Jersey. They'll be all over you like a cheap suit.

Why won't he be able to play next Thursday? Did Hak announce somewhere that he has benched him? It can't be from the penalty because it was a Game Misconduct not a DQ.

Nash actually played some of his youth hockey in Kamloops but I did find one boxscore from when they went head to head for you but keep in mind they were underagers for this tournament: http://www.pamintos.com/icemania/2005/game38.htm
-
If you followed AAA hockey in Alberta you would have known all about him. He used to play against Nash on a regular basis and put up very similar scoring numbers. Nash perhaps has the edge in playmaking while Frattin is a better sniper.

So you're a blender?

I thought about the goldilocks issue as well. But perhaps he wanted to remain so he could go and represent the Gophers at the Skills Competition, in the Spelling Bee. Rumour has it that he can now spell Minnesota on his own.

It's official: Duncan one of three Hobey Baker finalists
Sioux_Hab-it replied to PCM's topic in Men's Hockey
As I said when the bios of the top ten were released, it was real easy to see who would would be your three finalists. Ehn will only win if sentiment is allowed to outweigh the strength of schedule and league. Otherwise, this is a Duncan vs Brown competition all the way. -
Warthog maybe you could also explain what it is about this new rink that causes the Sioux to play so poorly in the fall and much better in winter.
-
The Blues manager wanted him to sign for the remainder of this season despite all of the it's his choice rhetoric. The fact that he didn't sign when asked will not sit well and it won't surprise me at all if he is traded this summer for his lack of commitment.

The truly pathetic obssession is getting your eggs in a knot over what is posted about your team on another teams site. More importantly, what kind of a no life waif (Troll) joins another teams site just to trash talk them. This Sioux are my team and I have no interest whatsoever regarding what other team chats have to say about them. However, as long as trolls continue to make a appearance on this site I will continue to make posts that are for their benefit and reading pleasure. If they run back to their site to cry and complain about what I post, even better

Did anyone happen to hear who won the Gopher team's annual March Golf Classic.

Lembke or Powell?

Come on now, who amongst us hasn't let their young ones hang some of those "Thanks for Coming Out" participation medals in their room. They help soften the blow to frail little egos that had wished for bigger and better things.

And I guess the smirk once he got back on the bench was merely a pained grimace as he tried to gasp for air. Right
