  1. The announcers acknowledged that MacWilliam had a good game for Camrose (he did) and back in the first period they did mention that he would be going to North Dakota. As I said in my last post, he does play alot like Greene, but it is hard to tell at this point in time if he will be as good.
  2. Actually, if I had to pick a D-man that MacWilliam is similar to in style of play it would be Greene, just not as good. Humboldt is up 1-0 with 10 minutes to play in the game, and the star of the game thus far has been Humboldt's top D-man Brady Wacker. At the Royal Bank Cup Awards Ceremony he was picked as the D-man of the year in Tier II Junior and I can see why. Small in stature but he plays like he is 6'4" and hits everything in his path. To quote his coach, every night he wears his heart on his sleeve. Update: Finished 1-0 for Humboldt. Denver can have Colborne. He may have been the Tier II Junior player of the year but put him against a top D like Humboldt's and he is easily neutralized.
  3. MacWilliam with the game winning goal in Camrose's 3-0 semi-final win this afternoon. They will play for the Royal Bank Cup tomorrow and the game will be broadcast on TSN. http://www.hockeycanada.ca/index.cfm/ci_id...ame_id/1492.htm
  4. You can watch Nolan Zajac and the Winnipeg Thrashers on the Telus webcast this afternoon. http://www.telushockeycanada.com/en/live_game.html
  5. I have been following the Canadian Midget Championship (Telus Cup 2008) because it is taking place right up the road from me. I haven't noted any UND scouts in attendance however they should be scouting members of the Winnipeg Thrashers as they have been the best team at the tournament thus far amd could produce some great DI recruits in a couple of years. Quarterbacking on the blueline for Winnipeg is young Zajac, who is smaller than his brothers but is still a very slick playmaker. Other impressive players are Hall and Stone.
  6. He will not slip to the third round as either New Jersey or Chicago will likely grab him much earlier just on spec.
  7. The Don's tenure is starting to unravel just like it did at CC.
  8. Let the trolls believe what they want to believe. Trupp and Frattin will get more ice time, while Genoway and Lapointe will chip in more than ever. If the Skippies want to concentrate on Kozek the incoming talent will bury them. You read it here, Sioux goals will not be as hard to come by next season.
  9. Kristo assisted on Team USA's final goal in a 4-1 quarterfinal win over Germany. http://www.iihf.com/channels/iihf-world-u1...statistics.html
  10. Camrose took game 2, 4-3 in overtime and both Hextall and MacWilliam had assists. The series now moves to Penticton with game 3 on Tuesday night. http://www.ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/hockey_boxSc...8&link=AJHL
  11. Camrose took game 1 of the Doyle Cup 3-1 and MacWilliam assisted on the first goal. http://www.ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/hockey_boxSc...7&link=AJHL
  12. The McWilliam/Hextall showdown is on as Camorse won the AJHL title last night with a 2-0 victory over Ft McMurray.
  13. He was in the lineup last night and ended the game with a one sided fight. Bad news is that his team lost 3-0 and there will be a game 7 in Camrose for the AJHL championship. If Camrose does win and advance to the next level there could be some real fireworks between him and Hextall.
  14. Apparently many of the newer members on this site are probably old ladies who would rather read People magazine than discuss Sioux hockey.
  15. The news wasn't so good for Camrose as McWilliam was taken out by a really nasty hit from behind. See the very end of the article, hopefully he will recover quickly. http://www.edmontonsun.com/Sports/Hockey/2...266356-sun.html
  16. Zach went straight to a Dentist after the game but I bet he will take losing two teeth versus what the Flyers Thoresen might lose. Ouch http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460
  17. Is Chief Wiggum a closet Gopher fan. Can't help but wonder given that he and his force seem to concentrate their efforts on the hockey team
  18. The Village People were not very good hockey players.
  19. Why didn't the goal negate the penalty.
  20. Are there any websites providing a feed of ESPN2? Got it thanks
  21. Camrose won again 3-1 and MacWilliam assisted on their first goal. http://www.ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/hockey_boxSc...p;gameID=547692
  22. I believe so and it is now up on the TSN site. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=233502&hubname=nhl
  23. I heard this was in the works but hadn't seen anything on TSN, so is there a link to this story?
  24. I never knew they were gluttons
  25. As predicted, Turris wasted no time signing with the Yotes. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=233227&hubname=
