WOW is all I have to say. Yes there have been defensive breakdowns, the special teams stink and the coach observed that the players aren't in a groove yet. This is still a talented lot of players and these are all issues that can be corrected by good coaching. Although this may be the most painful October in a real long time, better to have these problems now than later. Wait to see if we are still talking about all the same problems come January before getting so negative.

It's not the goalies, it is defensive breakdowns. Too bad that the Sioux forwards don't have a free pass to get to the opposition's net.

According to the B2 site tonights webcast of the game is cancelled.

Why is it that for the past several years Sioux hockey teams despite all that talent have trouble scoring in the first half of every season. They get the same number of shots throughout the season, but like turning on a switch, pucks find the back of the net in the second half. From this past weekend perhaps the outcomes were a result of no one other than Martens willing to go hard to the oppositons net, and it won't get any easier against the Mavs this weekend. There are other players in this years lineup that are capable and they must be willing to pay the price this weekend for the Sioux to get any points.

That is correct so hardly the end of the world as some are stating.
