That is "DII" basketballs problem. The rink was built as home to the University's "DI" hockey team. If they now must play second fiddle to other less significant sports and events in their own building then something has gone terribly wrong at my old school.

And why would you expect him to have to think about it when at worst the WCHA Ref would give him a minor for his effort. Thats an even bigger problem

As a player I was also encouraged to be agressive and we all like to push the envelope to see just how much we can get away with. It is human nature. The message the league is sending with its poor officiating and lack of calls is that headhunting is okay so go ahead and bash the stuffing out of the leagues elite players. Therefore, a league shakeup is required.

It would sure get the leagues attention if one of its elite teams decided that it had enough and applied to join the CCHA. It might hurt on the PWR but at least that team's fans would get to enjoy the true talent of their elite players.

So the Goofs are a number one seed again. Big deal! Based on their next opponents play they will be one and out. Maine has exceptional goaltending and Defence at the moment and the Goofs offence has gone south. My only disappointment is that it gives a team like Maine another easy path to the Frozen Four.

Does the league care? I think not as there has been nothing but silence regarding the whole matter involving Robbie Bina. What will it take to get change? I think some of the posters are correct that it will take a collective outcry from school officials. Without action we may be reading some players obituary next time.

Imagine if Lucy decided to speak the truth. I can imagine that he would have to say his D is banged up, his goaltenders are sieves and his leading scorer is in the funny farm. It sure wouldn't instill any confidence in the Gopher faithful would it?

I agree and you can throw in that BC is just as banged up as we are with three regulars out of their lineup. My dad is out East and catches most of the games and in his opinion the BC goaltending is overrated.

This is going to be extremely tough but if any fans have a legitimate reason to complain it is CC who once again has to play on a regular ice surface in Michigans backyard. Based on everything that is transpiring at the moment would lead me to believe that DU has some extra influences in the NCAA hockey process.

How can you say that. The Sioux were a tired team and their already short bench got shorter with Bina's injury. If the correct call had been made the Sioux would have had an extra 3 minutes of PP and Denvers bench would have been shortened by one. The way the Sioux were playing who's to say they wouldn't have potted the winner in regulation under those circumstances.

You were close old friend but I don't believe Fulgham made the team and the second D-man to go with Fuhr was the Pies Laatch.

Wow, you just had a once in a lifetime experience. It is not every Sioux fan who can claim that he actually met one of DUs two dozen fans.

Character win from a tired and beat up team that probably had their minds elsewhere as well. Nice to see that with even this lineup we can even beat the Goofs in there own building because this could be our lineup the rest of the way. Go Sioux.

Woog is bothered that the Sioux are outhitting the Goofs. As if one of his teams ever did.

Perchance is the Shep short for Sheperd. He made the same blatant mistake two weekends in a row and now a kids hockey career is likely over. Would you want him reffing a game either you or your son were playing in. Get real.

Absolutely! That Adams was out reffing again this weekend and we now likely have a career ending injury for a repeat lack of officiating falls squarely on the shoulders of both the chief of officials and the league. At the very least it should be the end of Shepard's tenure and I believe Bina could have grounds for pursuing financial compensation.
