I can't believe that just happened. While the refs screwed up we need to call a timeout or kill it. Unacceptable.

I just don't understand how the edge is so soft on every play. No one is even close.

Gave up a 3rd and 11 on the first drive and 4th and 6 on the next. Need to get off the field.

Today wasn't good but the sun will come up tomorrow. Games like this happen from time to time. While it's embarrassing and sucks we still have an opportunity to win our conference, make the playoffs and compete for a national championship. South Dakota is a very good team. They aren't 45-7 better than us but they are a good team. Today wasn't about coaching schemes. It was about effort, execution and discipline. We were bad at all of those things today. What we need to have happen next week. Stop jumping offsides (both O and D). Defense make the plays when you are there...get around the ball and be violent. We sat and watch guys fall forward today. On offense we need our WRs to be great. No more dropped passes(we had many today) and make some great catches to keep drives going. Oline, TEs and FBs need to take today personally. We need to be assignment sharp and have much better effort. We can't have two unblocked guys on a 4th and 1. Again the sun will come up tomorrow. The guys will watch the film learn, from it and get ready for the kitties to come to town. I trust bubba and the coaches will make sure that we won't see this again.

Yes I agree 100% a national championship ring should be paid for by the NCAA or the university. It would be nice if conference rings could be paid for but hopefully that becomes a yearly thing for several sports.

We had to pay for the one on the left...the one on the right means a little more and was given to us. I say just go win one of those.

I'm giving the game ball to Alex Reed. Caused a fumble on punt, did a nice job fielding and returning punts (let one get away from him) and his first catch really got us moving. Fun to see a team guy do so well.

I will agree that it was a frustrating game today, but we need to remember we played and beat a good team today. This wasn't a team we were going to beat by 30. Offensively we need to continue to attack with the passing game early and often. Our WRs are good enough to get open with the man coverage. For whatever reason we backed down from that challenge today. I was really happy with the defense today. Weber has a lot of talent and outside of a couple plays we contained it well. #43 was a monster today. He was everywhere on the field. It was reassuring to see us hit a few kicks today to secure the win. Still on top of the Big Sky and everything is in front of us. Let's get healthy and beat the bears.

I would like to see us run more out of 10,11 and 20 personnel this weekend. Last week was a lot of 21,22,31, and a few times it even looked like 41. When we are in the big sets there are so many guys in the box. The bengals typically had 8 within 4 yards of the line of scrimmage. I'm sure Weber state will run something similar this week. Defensively we need better effort this week. Last week went through the motions and squeaked out a win. Let's go boys!

Is there a way to stream the game right on a smart tv without using a computer?

Great win for the program yesterday. Nice to see the offense and defense play well. The turnovers in the first half just killed us. If we go up 24-0 Poly has to throw and we can defend the pass better. Tough to defend the pass when we focused so hard on the run. We should have scored on the play before the first fumble. The fullback missed the defender. He gets that block and Brady walks into the endzone. I thought Keaton probably his best game of his career. He missed a couple throws but that happens at every level. It was nice to see us get so many different WRs involved. Our freshman played great! Still need to throw a few passes to our TEs. Final thought is hopefully we can get John back for homecoming...we need him down the stretch.

I hope you are right. They will adjust their defense so I'm curious to see how we adjust. Let's go boys!

Santiago will be fine. He is pressing right now trying to hit the big one. While I didn't like it at the beginning of the year I think he needs to be back returning kicks. He has the potential to score every time and usually flips the field at the very least. Getting Seibel back (hopefully this week) will help the passing gave as he will go across the middle for us and get some dirty yards. Can't agree more that we need to involve our TE's. Especially with everyone stacking the box. When we go to 31 personnel our splits are small and the defense stacks the box even more and we are averaging around -1 yard a carry out of it. Let's throw a bit out of it. Excited for this weekend!

Today was a big win for the program. It wasn't pretty but it was a win. We haven't won many big road games in the Big Sky and today we did. I made the drive to Bozeman one year and the team forgot to get off the bus. It was bad. Defense played lights out today. Got a little agressive on their last td drive. Offensively we are getting better but we aren't good enough to overcome dropped passes, missed passes, missed assignments by the oline, and holes by the running backs. We need our backs to hit the hole hard each time. Get us 2nd-7 not 2nd-11. I've noticed several times this year where the hole was there but we tried to hit the homerun. The 3rd and short by the goaline is an example. The first was there but Brady tried to bounce it and was stopped short. That being said Brady ran very well overall today! Next week is a huge game. Let's go Hawks.

My biggest concern defensively from Saturday was our tackling. I'm guessing film and grades weren't high in that department. On one play our lb got run over and our safety pushed their qb in the side and he continued for another 15 yards. We have tackled great this year so I assume that will be better on Saturday.

I agree. I didn't see an issue with the tap on the helmet after the td but I did after his long run. Easily could have drawn a flag. I've noticed it a couple of times this year. I'm guessing it will be cleared up and won't happen again. No excuse for taunting penalities.
