If they were going to show any games on WDAZ, I'd think that Minnesota would be one of them. Glad to see they are televising the away games at Duluth and Bemidji St. I wish they would scrap the exhibition games and televise a couple more football games instead.

After a somewhat slow start, they looked quite good. Not the explosiveness on offense of the last two seasons, but still a very productive and methodical effort I'd say. Couple thoughts I took away from last night's game......... -Freund bobbled several snaps while holding for place kicks. Need to tighten that up, he's been the holder for 4 years now. -Josh Murray is going to need to get the ball more. He is a much more decisive and patient runner than Brady. -I thought the offensive line got pushed around a bit in the run blocking. Lots of tackles in our backfield. -Hellevang only punted a couple times, but man can he kick it a long ways. I wonder how he'll do in situational punting. -The player that I was most impressed with last night was Dominique Hawkins. His interception is what finally fired the team up, and he had a couple real nice kick returns. -Need to work on tackling. -Kenny Watkins also looked good, stayed where he was supposed to all night, and had a couple of pass break-ups. -Hard to tell from one game, but I've felt that the secondary was somewhat of a weakness for us the past two seasons. Aside from the two busted plays that resulted in TAMUK TD's, I thought they looked quite good last night. Along with Otto and Manke, I thought the young guys Hawkins, Ankenbaur, Watkins all played well. And Saporu wasn't even dressed last night.

The crowd was indeed awesome. And the atmosphere was great in the place. I couldn't have been happier. Let's keep it going.

Drinking age of 21 sounds about right to me, for civilians (like me). If you have a Military I.D., I think you should be able to have a cool one at the end of the day, regardless of age.

I really don't give a crap about which school is bigger, but it is this a correct assumption: NDSU accepts a higher percentage of applicants than does UND? I'm asking you Hammersmith.

As for our other opponents.......... -TAMUK is picked 5th in the South Divison of the Lonestar Conference -St. Cloud St. is tabbed 5th in the NSIC -UW-La Crosse is picked to finish 3rd in the WIAC -Western Washington is picked 3rd in the GNAC

I haven't read this entire thread, but it should be noted that TAMUK was picked to finish 5th in the South Division of the Lonestar Conference Preseason Poll.

A post from the USD Board indicates that they're playing Minnesota in 2010. No source or confirmation of course.

The answer is easy. The University of North Dakota is nation-wide!

FCS Coaches Poll is out. Cal Poly is #14. Obviously, UND is not in the Top 25, but we did get some respect. North Dakota got got 5 votes.

USD's Schedule is out. I like ours better. North Carolina is kinda cool though.

I recently received an email from USD A.D. Joel Neilson, and he said that the conference champion will indeed be determined by winning percentage of conference games.

I would say that is an excellent interpretation of this particular marketing campaign.

That site has been "under construction" for the past 4 years. If you want podcasting and streaming audio of other than actual game broadcasts, you'd better hope that UND dumps Clear Channel.
