It is duck season, but has been open for a week and a half now, so I don't think the impact will be as great as it would have had we had a game on the opener. The SUU game cooincides with the opening of deer season though, I'd expect that to have an impact. I'll guess somewhere between 11,000 and 12,000.

That is what I was trying to do last night. I added a TP to the G 11 bird at 91 W, with the coordinates on the UND website, and tried a TP scan but had no signal at all on that TP. This is normally what I do in order to get Montana Football games as well. After screwing around for an hour and a half, I finally reset my system to factory default, and just did a power-scan of 91W, and the game came in at 12191 V. I had the same problem last season. The last 3-4 games of the season, I was only able to find the hockey games on a frequency just a few notches off from that which was posted on the Ralph's website. Never have I had any trouble scanning in a channel posted on sattelliteguys.us. Only the FSSN.

Judging from the Big Sky's past expansion patterns and from the western opposition from Sac St. and Portland St., I'd the chances are extremely remote. My bet is that UND will continue to court the Summit League, and the Great West will likely be our football home for many years to come, barring any major shake-ups.

The soccer team is really struggling this year. They are 3-9, and recently lost to Northern Iowa, Montana, and USD, three struggling programs in their own right. Our program showed so much potential just a few seasons ago when Brock Thompson was named coach, but has fallen off considerably. Just wondering if there are any great soccer minds out there that have an opinion on what this program needs to do to improve.

The most striking thing to me about the various polls released so far this week is the fact the Southern Illinois is ranked behing Northern Iowa in all of them.

In the Northern Arizona Tournament the Sioux will play: Nov. 28 vs. UC-Riverside Nov. 29 vs. Northern Arizona In the Iowa St. Tourney: Dec. 29 vs. Lamar Dec. 30 vs. Niagra or Iowa St.

To me, the polls are very important over the next 4 years. With no play-offs to shoot for, my #1 goal for the football team will always be to win the Great West title, and #2 will be to finish the season in the Top 25.
