Feel free to go to one of their message boards to discuss it................. -
Well that's good that it is apparently official. Should alleviate some of the belly-aching about the odd number of teams and the "lone-wolf" scheduling model they have been using ever since Northern Colorado joined for basketball, volleyball, etc. I assume there will be divisions for those sports now. Travel Partners: North Dakota-UNC Montana-Montana St. Idaho-EWU Idaho St.-Weber St. Southern Utah-Northern Arizona Portland St.-Sac St. Right now, Sac St. is the "lone wolf"

Hate to say it, buy I don't think North Dakota would probably fare too well against Fargo right now. We have shown that we can score on terrible and average defenses. But we have'nt played anything close to a defense what FU is putting on the field right now. -
Southern Illinois beat Youngstown yesterday. Coach Lennon really seems to have things on the uptick in Carbondale after a bad couple seasons and a slow start. They've got Fargo U on the docket next. Other Big Sky Winners: Weber St Northern Colorado Eastern Washinton Northern Arizona Cal Poly

I recorded the game and watched it when I got home. I thought the quality of the ROOT production was excellent. Would be nice to get more than one game on this network.

Am I the only one that grows tired of these types of comments? Any win is a good win, and the players displayed some testicular fortitude against some adverse circumstances yesterday, so kudos to them for rising to the occasion. On the other hand, also need to recognize that we barely snuck by an average at best FCS team. Learn from the good and bad of yesterday's game and build on that so that North Dakota becomes an above average FCS team. But most importantly, PLAY TO WIN, you know................. fake punts, go for it on 4th down all the time, trick plays.............those things always work and prove to the fans that you're a winner......................... Oh, and to me anyways, it is kind of a bummer when the opposing fans out-number our students 3 to 1. If not for the big turnout by Griz fans, this could have been the most poorly attended game of the season thus far. I'd like to personally thank all the Griz fans that made the trip and bought tickets. Hope you had a good time despite the outcome, and look forward to seeing you back next season.

Unfortunately, I'm thinking Montana may win this game by a comfortable margin..............................

Regarding the whole "BCS Conferences starting their own playground" theory............................ IMO, it makes alot of sense on the surface when you consider only football and basketball. But all of those conferences would also have to deal with governing the other 14+ sports that they sponsor. Also, I don't think that if they did break away, even with the big name schools that would potentially be involved, I'm not sure that new TV deals for football would go so far above and beyond what they are currently getting to offset the loss in revenue that the NCAA basketball tournament currently provides those schools, in addition to having to financially support programs like volleyball, soccer, wresting, lacrosse, hockey, etc...................... The NCAA already gives the BCS schools free reign to govern and profit from football..................

Does it really matter how or when he suspends a player, much less how we all find out about it? From what I've seen in the past from Coach Mussman, if a player has to sit, it is probably warranted. A couple guys sat out the opener this season for missing class during the first week......................

We can't even take over our own stadium......................

I think I get it all. Mussman sucks and so does Faison. And NDSU is a joke because they have agriculture programs. Anything else?
-
Thanks for the clarification...................
-
While I agree with your premise, how many of those other teams have as many Top 15 FCS schools on the schedule as does UND? Soon, we will be among them.................
-
Well, North Dakot is quite windy due to the fact that Minnesota sucks and Montana blows....................................
-
My point is, I don't think Mussman should be judged only on this particular season. The losses are to an FBS team and 3 Top 25 FCS teams, two of which could have gone either way. IMO, the jury is still out on Mussman.

I think Bauman is better. Williams may end up with better numbers due to the system that he plays in. Both are very good................... -
