  1. I agree now. Tonight's game-plan basically made Hendrickson damaged goods from here on out as far as I am concerned. I think he could complete a bubble screen or a 3 yard crossing pattern as easily as Hanson. Hanson needs to play the rest of the way.
  2. wouldn't the red turf be more effective for EWU if they were wearing red jerseys UC Davis just tied it up with MSU
  3. Just an observation.............. Hanson is much more conservative with the ball than Hendrickson. He doesn't look downfield to often. Lots of short passes and bubble screens, almost a form of a running game.
  4. Mussman and Baldwin look alot alike
  5. I want one guy to play the rest of the game. Probably Hanson at this point. The coaching staff has basically let Hendrickson know they have no confidence in him.
  6. I think Mollberg should get a turn too.............
  7. This could get out of hand quickly. Maybe they should consider letting the leading passer in the Big Sky air it out some like he's been doing all year rather than bring him in when they want to call a QB keeper..............
  8. Aw crap. KO return for TD by EWU
  9. Pick a QB and stay with him. When you have 2 quarterbacks you have no quarterbacks.
  10. Just flat dropped by Jackson.............
  11. Lets run it like that all night..................
  12. Davis up 14-7 on the Bobcats. Near the end of 1st qtr..............
  13. Garrison Goodman did not make the trip............
  14. North Dakota got swept by Portland St . today
  15. Montana leads UNC 33-10 now. I think the Griz are going to rack up a pile of rushing yards against North Dakota in a couple weeks................................
  16. It pains me to say it, but in my opinion the biggest reason Youngstown looked so bad is because Fargo is so darn good. They have a very good team again this year. I also watched the Southern Illinois game. They beat the #9 team in the country in ISU, and they looked pretty bad while doing it if you ask me. I think it is looking like the MVFC is quite top-heavy this year. Pretty big drop off after Fargo if you ask me. I think every ranked Big Sky team would handle every ranked MVFC team pretty easily with the exception of Fargo.
  17. 300 rush yards is pushing it, but I think they'll have a good day running the ball, and that bodes well for North Dakota. I would find 5 sacks difficult to believe given that I think we have 5 on the entire season. I expect Hardin, Jackson, and Golladay to have good days. All of the recieving corps will. What is the status of RJ McGill? Both teams will score over 40............
  18. Given what we've seen from Jones' teams over his time here, I'm thinking North Dakota will finish in the top half of the league standings, and then go on a run through the post-season tournament. Even going back to NCC days, his teams have normally been playing their best basketball at the end of the season....................
  19. Tom Miller just tweeted this:
  20. Hendrickson is my guy as far as I am concerned......................... He's lost to an FBS school and to a Top 20 FCS school. And neither of those two losses had anything to do with his play.................
  21. Ever the homer that I am, I am going to say North Dakota 45, Eastern Washington 42......................... There will be no defense played by either team in this game. Neither team has proven that they can stop the run, but at least North Dakota has shown glimpses that they can run the ball a little bit. I figure both offenses will throw for 300+ yards, but North Dakota will be more effective at running the ball than will EWU, and they'll put together a long drive in the second half to seal the deal, ala Sac St................ The key will be to keep the Eagles out of the Red Zone................ The red turf will bother those of us watching the game alot more than it will the players....................... These two teams are seemingly mirror images of one another. Based on last season, who would have thought that?
  22. Given the attenadance so far? Yes..............
  23. The environment for Cal Poly was great, although the actual attendance number was disappointing. I think homecoming against NAU will crack 10,000..............but it will be all downhill from there........
  24. Prior to the start of the season, I figured EWU would win this game easily. That was when I assumed that North Dakota would have a mediocre offense, a good run defense, and horrible pass defense. Through 5 games, basically the opposite of all those assumtions appears to be true. Heading into the year, I thought Cal Poly and Portland St. would be the best possible matchups for us, because they want to run it down the opponent's throat, and that is what UND excelled at defending. Apparently, we cannot stop the run, but we have pretty much scored at will on everyone, save for CP which is the best defense we will probably see all year. I'm not going to be so bold as to predict a win, but given what I've seen over 5 weeks, and as surprising as it seems, North Dakota will probably fare better in a track meet with the Eagles than they did against the smash-mouth meat-grinder that the Mustangs brought to Grand Forks last weekend...............
