Back when I played in the late 70's there was a challenge game where #4 in the west played #5 in the east and vice versa after regionals for a shot to get to state. They should go back to that. Guarantee there would be 5 east teams and 3 west teams this year and many other years.

Thief River Falls has suspended both their varsity and JV hockey teams because of some sort of hazing and sexual misconduct. I'm sure more will come out in the coming days. Sucks for those kids who had nothing to do with it especially the seniors.

You have got to be kidding me. I have some real big gopher fan buddies who live in the cities. They say it's not promoted at all there. Nothing. Zippo. Listening to Micheletti the other day and he said they should of named it the MinnKota Cup and had UND and all 5 Minny teams in it. If promoted right I think that it could work.
