He did the Chi Chi Rodriguez thing last night by putting his stick in a holster. I had no problem with that but I did see where he has 44 penalty minutes already.
Dickinson has a stud on their team, Jersey Martin. Scored their first 2 goals and was by far the best player on the ice. When Jamestown doesn't work hard they look terrible and that was the case last night. They were outshot 46-23.
Wild blow a 4 goal lead against Dallas yesterday but manage to win in the end 5-4. Kuemper was in the net a let a few softies in. Doobs back in the net tonight as the 2 top teams in the West go at it in Chicago.
Wild are:
-5th in the league in points, 2nd in the West (57)
-5th in the league in goals for, 1st in the West (130)
-2nd in the league in goals against, 1st in the West (86)
-2nd in the league in goal differential, 1st in the West (+44)
Played against all 3 of those teams. 76-77 was Cando's last season and possibly Park Rivers too. Cando had quite the barn. Neutral ice could not of been more than 20 feet plus the chicken wire for plexi glass.
I was wondering when the Wild were going to catch up to the Blackhawks in games played as they have had 4-5 games in hand for much of the season. Well they play 20 games in the last 35 days of the season. Ouch.
Nice to see Boudreau go back to Anaheim and get a big win against his old team. Also nice to see the D tighten up and allow just 1 goal. I will take 2-0-1 in California any day.
Sure did. Wild were down 2-0 and 4-2 and came back both times to tie it up and win it at the end. That was a big boy win at a place they have struggled at lately. Doobs has had back to back bad games and I expect to see Kuemper in goal in the next one. Hopefully it's just a bad 2 game stretch for Doobs because obviously he's a big reason they are where they are in the standings.
