  1. Or score a power play goal
  2. The NHL informed teams that the salary cap for the 2026-27 season will rise to $104 million, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. The increase aligns with the league's previous projections and is a notable jump from the $95.5-million limit this season. Teams will have to spend a minimum of $76.9 million to reach the salary-cap floor, while the maximum player salary (20% of a team's payroll) will be $20.8 million, Friedman notes. As it stands, the highest cap hit in the league next season belongs to Minnesota Wild star Kirill Kaprizov, who signed a record-setting $136-million ($17-million annual cap hit) extension last September. Although teams across the league will have more flexibility this offseason, the 2026 free-agent class isn't expected to inspire a spending spree. Alex Tuch, Sergei Bobrovsky, and Darren Raddysh are among the most prominent players set to hit the open market this summer
  3. Britta Curl now has 4 one game suspensions going back to last year. Just served number 4 last night in their 1-0 loss to Montreal
  4. I think they get one at home and that’s it
  5. Toronto has won the ‘26 draft lottery and will pick first
  6. The Minnesota Wild are making a goalie change for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Colorado Avalanche. Filip Gustavsson will get the nod in lieu of Jesper Wallstedt, head coach John Hynes announced, per The Athletic's Michael Russo. Wallstedt was excellent in Round 1 against the Dallas Stars, posting a .924 save percentage while starting all six games in the series. However, he was lit up for eight goals on 42 shots in a 9-6 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1 of the second round
  7. Flyers up 2-0 5 minutes in
  8. He’s disappeared more than once in these playoffs
  9. They both were not good. Wallstedt was left out to dry more than once. Missing Brodin and Ek shouldn’t make that much different. Wild couldn’t slow them down at all especially through the neutral zone. Be interesting to see what changes Hynes makes for game 2
  10. And Montreal wins it 2-1. Unbelievable 9 shots on goal. Fewest ever for a playoff win.
  11. Montreal takes the lead with 9 to go
  12. Sounds like he’s out for the series. Thinking he broke a bone in his foot when he blocked a shot
  13. Montreal no shots in the second and 4 total
  14. Erickson-Ek out for first 2 games for the Wild. Not good
  15. For Schmaltz
  16. Sabres advance
  17. Let’s drive a 600 mile round trip for an easy win or go to Fergus and a 100 round trip and play a competitive game. I know as a former girls coach where I’d want to play
  18. Jamestown only makes sense to go east. So WC and Hazen will both have teams this coming season?
  19. Philly is moving on to the second round
  20. That was ugly
