I think you are reading waaaaay too much into my posts. I'm merely stating that this isn't going to get solved on a sports forum board. The Athletic Director is the one that needs to make this call. The only way I could be influencing him is if he reads this thread and thinks that I'm worth listening to. I have not contacted the AD directly. I'll let him do his job. BTW, my contributions to UND athletics are not shaped in anyway by who the coach is. I support the U.
I doubt very highly if Faison frequents this board for ideas on how to run his department.
As far as the players are concerned, I don't believe that I mentioned them in any of my posts.
I have been patiently waiting for something positive to happen with MBB. I could maybe understand with a young team losing a nail-biter at the end, but when I read comments like this.... and this ..... something needs to be done.
I'll take a pass on the Kool Aid.
The last time I started a topic about this columnist, the thread was closed. It'll be hard to attack based upon this offering. More obsession with Sioux hockey from Michael Rand...
I have to admit, he does make me laugh.
I kind of thought the reason Jones decided on the Princeton offense was he felt like he wouldn't get the recruits to run a Big 10 type of offense. When it was announced the Sioux were going to the Princeton style offense, I applauded it because I somewhat agree with running the Princeton offense at UND. I'm still hopeful that it will work out.
I see Sac State has an opening on October 16th. Maybe Brian and Terry can work something out.
I also see Georgetown has an opening for that date. That would be a good "name" team.
Somehow this will be blamed on UND.
I know I have seen a web site with all of the FCS teams with open schedule dates. Does anyone have a link? I'm interested in knowing who Hofstra had scheduled for next year.
I saw a nice article on the front page of the WSJ today. I'm hoping that it is accessible online to all. It is about the history of the two coaches, how far they go back and the competition between them. Losing Is H-E-Double Hockey Sticks For Boston's Icy Odd Couple
I like seeing hockey front and center in the public eye, even if it is east coast hockey.
You and your family will be in our prayers. It has been just over 2 years since I lost my father, so I know what you are going through. God bless you YaneA.
