Landry manages a good game. Without him yesterday, I believe the Sioux would have lost. Hopefully Sutton is ready for next week to help carry the load. On the matter of being overmatched, I'd rather be winning games in which I may be over matched then losing games I should be winning. That said, I hope the Sioux don't take USF lightly next weekend. Not that I'm trying to look past this season, but I do look forward to one more year of experience with the personnel the Sioux have. The Sioux are still pretty young and the future looks bright. Go SIOUX!!!

I just watched the goal line stand video at the end of the game on Youtube. Wow!! Sounded like it got pretty loud in the Alerus. That had to make for some pretty good nation-wide television viewing. First weekend on FCS was very nice. Go Sioux!!!

Which is my point. If you don't know hockey, you may think that they are doing "the chop". As someone mentioned there has to be some more current photos they could use, but they choose not to. I don't call this coincidence. I call it deliberate. Obviously this is an older photo, looking at the logo on the jerseys.

Why is it that almost every time the Forum runs a story on the Sioux name it includes a picture of the student section "appearing" to be doing a tomahawk chop. To my knowledge the tomahawk chop has never been done en masse by UND, although it has been by the virtuous Florida State.
