Really good point, since Jonesy was taken 5th overall just like Wheeler! Oh wait, what's that? He was taken 80th overall? Hmm...

When can we expect to find out what punishment the WCHA has meted out to Don Adam for his unarguably and incredibly poor job of officiating in this game? Can anyone review what Peltier did to Trupp and credibly argue that Peltier should not have gotten five and a DQ? That is when Adam lost control of the game and his actions (or lack thereof) need to have consequences.

I think we have just found the username under which McFeely-Touchie posts on this forum.

South club lounge (end Sioux shoot at twice) 2 seats each night; "bar stool" seating Bench side of the ice, great seats Free beverages until the drop of the puck, including all beers and designated mixed drink of the night Includes use of parking pass In-seat drink service [*]Free pre-packaged popcorn, chips, etc. and canned pop throughout the game (while it lasts - usually something left at the end of the game) [*]Another 2 standing room "seats" available @ $25 each/night (since the bar stool seats are the top row, all four in your party can be in immediate proximity of one another) [*]My cost $3,000 total (both seats) for the season (20 games) - will accept best reasonable offer [*]Preference given to those that want both games of the series [*]PM me if interested

Hak made a really bad mistake and has apologized for it. I think everyone, even Sioux haters can agree that it was highly out of character. While what he did was totally unacceptable, I guarantee that Adam earned it with some over-the-top antagonistic language. In the question of who was more right in Hak vs. Adam, I'm taking Hak every day of the week and twice on Sunday - are you kidding me? Are their respective track records even close? Please.

5'8", 165 lb Chay Genoway is more of a man than any of the UMN players, coaching staff, media, or fans COMBINED. And that includes a certain UMN fan many on here are defending. I don't blame him for being frustrated, but I for one think it is unconditionally moronic for him to come onto a Sioux site and spew immediately after an emotional series. Use your effin head and do it somewhere else.

Have you ever thought of starting your own website dedicated to UND athletics? Insight like yours ought not go without opportunity of exposure. Jk, it's hard not to sound like a suck-up when I type this, but this may be the single best post on this site ever. IMHO, the conspiracy angle is far, far, far, far, far overplayed and has gotten unbelievably OLD! Honest to pete, can't we give that tired old saw a rest? Please! Thank you

I don't know. Why don't you clue us in?

You know, I thought the same thing - not to make excuses for a really bad team performance, but I remember also wondering after Hak's comments on Miller earlier in the week if this week we'd see others on the team come down with the flu bug. Hak usually plays it pretty close to the vest, but I was surprised that even he didn't rip into the boys at least a little bit after the game. If the flu was making its way through the team, that might explain why. If it is indeed the case, I hope they recover more quickly than Miller - sounds like he had a really tough go with it. They'll need to have everyone available, feeling well and playing well this weekend against UMN. UMN is a really frustrated team that is looking to take it out on somebody. Hopefully they have at least one more week of frustration.

So in order to play @ BSU, UMTC would likely have to get a waiver from their own athletic department! Gee, sure sounds like an impenetrable barrier to me. Perhaps you should be the last to criticize the reasonableness of others' posts on this site. Just an observation: It would seem that those lobbying for inclusion of BSU into the WCHA (on this board) have strong ties to Bemidji. Everyone else seems to think otherwise. If BSU needs scheduling help, they need to exhaust all avenues for getting a 2 @ home and 2 @ away series' set from each of the in-state DI schools before going to the WCHA. If the WCHA agrees to allow BSU in, it needs to be contingent upon BSU having an arena with 6,000+ capacity.

My take on this is that if Canadian schools become NCAA members, there will be much more competition for recruits from Canada. I may be naive, but I think UND will still be okay, because of its proximity to Canada, its facilities, its tradition, its history of recruiting in Canada, and its all Canadian coaching staff. I think it a good move for UND because I believe the BTHC may be imminent. If UND cannot get an "associate" membership in the BTHC (which, quite frankly, I think likely), a new WCHA comprised of the remaining "old guard" WCHA (UND, CC, DU, MTU and probably UMD) and the new Canadian schools would allow UND to be a member of the other power conference in the NCAA. It would probably make sense to add UAA as well. Why? Because, as some seem to have forgotten, by traveling to UAA the NCAA has ruled that those games do not count against the allowed maximum (efectively amounting to "extra" games in the schedule). I believe also that UAA is still required to pay for all expenses associated with league members traveling to play them at home.

Found tix, so I'm good - thanks. -
For which we can all be thankful.

Actually, I think your comment would go over quite well in Dinkytown.

It will be interesting to see the next defense by Teeder11 of his friends at the Heraldo.

I agree, I think Woog was sandbagging. Looks like some of our fans are buying it. I'm hoping the boys aren't.

Am I missing something? Why did some hispanics find "Pork Chop" offensive?
-
I agree. If the Sioux wanted to play at home, they should have beaten UNO (a home game). I'm a huge Sioux fan, but facts is facts.

Points are earned only in conference games. This was a non-conference game.

Last year there were rumors that Genoway was really wowin' 'em in practice. Anything similar regarding any of the newcomers?
-
Ira, that is an extremley depressing post. I really hope you're way off base on this one.
-
I'd be very surprised if you have the faintest clue about which you are talking.

You got it, Dan (Quayle).
