The history books will forever say that both the men's and women's basketball teams won their inaugural DI games on the same night!!! I didn't get to go to the game tonight because I had to rush from work just to get to the crapy men's hockey game but it is awesome for the ladies to win their first official DI game!!! I can't wait to watch it on SiouXtra this monday.

Lamar Cardinals Lamar University is a member of the Southland Conference with schools such as SE Louisianna, Texas State, McNeese, Stephen F Austen, etc. As mentioned above they currently don't have a football program but will put a team on the field in 2010. Can't say I'm overly excited to hear a first year team will be one of our games. But I guess we have to do what we can to get as many home games as we can during the transition.

He must not have looked too hard. Lids in the middle of Columbia Mall. Scheels. Sports Zone. Kohls. JCPenny's. etc. I've seen plenty of Bison gear in GF. I would expect that Bison gear would be starred at with hatred in any North Dakota town.

There isn't. This is just the worst team that UND has put on the field in years. You could take most of UND's teams since 2000 and they would be an undefeated, maybe 1 loss team.

Woops, probably not the best game to bring them to. Extremely poor attendance and a loss isn't exactly what you want to show them.

Illinois State @ SDSU is on FCS Atlantic at 1. Texas State @ SE Louisiana is on FCS Central @ 2. These are the ones that I'm seeing on my guide.

I hope people aren't thinking this is just a "gimmie" game. SUU is very much improved from last season.

Anyone know where the refs were from? Were they DI, DII or DAC refs? At the end when both teams were rotating their benches in, the refs would call some real petty fouls outside of the 3 point line while letting some obvious ones inside slide. This game was definately not a smooth one.

Definately a big milestone for Coach Idalski and the ladies. Who ever would have thought that the Women's hockey team would be ranked higher than the Men's team?!?! The ladies get this weekend off before taking on undefeated and #1 ranked Wisconsin. The Badgers are also off this weekend. This definately will be the toughest test that the ladies have had yet this year.

The Sioux had a definitive 3-0 win on friday night. SOG UC 9 UND 43! The ladies finished up the sweep today with another convincing 4-1 win.

We can only hope. (I mean that in a good way.)
