Studsrud has won because the defense has been absolutely dominant. I can't believe that anyone here thinks he has won because of the QB play, he may be a great runner, but I have seen highschool QB's be more efficient at throwing the football.

We need a Braden Hanson to come in at QB. This defense is being wasted due to inept QB play.

We don't have one on the roster, the best we have isn't the same after a torn achiles.

Honestly, with a better QB we win by double digits quite easily. Studsrud can't read his progressions at all, he is athletic and that is about it. I often wonder how good we would be with Danny Freund at QB. Studsrud is just terrible outside of his ability to run.

We have a deep enough LB core to survive those injuries, but Reyes has to play. We have no one that can replace what he does as the centerfielder of the defense.

It was, that takes some balls to call that play to finish out a game.

Rudolph has 4-5 plays a game where I am wondering if he was just playing to much Madden before the game. Just massive brainfarts at the worst possible times

We may just have the best kickers in the nation on the FCS level. 4 for 4 on Field goals and a 72 yard punt, and they will both be here next year. Enjoy it guys, you don't see kickers like this to often.

This is accurate, 1st he failed a drug test and than got caught steeling $10 worth of stuff at Scheels. You don't get in trouble if you are already suspended, there is a zero tolerance policy within the program.

The first suspension was because of a positive drug test, haven't heard anything about this though.

We won last week and dominated on defense while blitzing only 4 times. I have a feeling that Schmidty is going to let Dranka and boys loose today and wreck havoc on that offensive line. UND 34- Drake 10

That just proves as backwards thinking and not something Faison would do. I mean why offer this new incentive and be a leader with this just to drop to a lower conference. Maybe he is truly thinking of dropping womens hockey.

We are not switching to a lower level conference because of this. It will come from a couple sports being discontinued( which probably should have happened regardless) and donations from alumni which they probably have in hand before this announcement was ever made. I am surprised they were able to secure funding so fast but am thrilled that they are going to be a leader in this and not fall further behind.

Let's be honest, Womens hockey is probably not going anywhere. Yes it is a massive money pit for the University, but it is a nationally recognized program in a hockey crazy town. I would still like to see Womens soccer cut, but it may very well be the Mens and Womens swimming and diving programs. They effecitively cancel eachother out for title IX issues, and it is a program that a lot of schools in the upper midwest dont offer. Will be interesting to see what they do

Baseball, Softball, and Womens soccer should all be concerned right now. I am betting that Baseball and Soccer will be getting cut

The thing about his injury is that a lot of the recovery is mental as well, much like an ACL. You have to have confidence that your body will do what it is supposed to when you plant that foot. I fully expect Molberg to be in the game sooner rather than later, he just has to get his head back in the game and trust that he is healthy.

It's not, he is a good kid that made a mistake. This isn't a legal matter.

If i'm being nice with how Studsrud played last year, I will steal a quote from the movie Moneyball, "the nice way of saying it is he lacks confidence". He consistently missed open men and rode the legs of our running game. I can't support a quarterback who can't show that they can make the easy throw in game. Molberg looked very calm and collected before he got hurt, and I think some people are forgetting that because it has been awhile. I am expecting the 2 deep at quarterback to change this year.
