  1. http://www.baylorbears.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/buckels_carlton00.html There is this guy too
  2. I researched all 8 teams and found no connections.....feel like I am in CSI tonight trying to figure this crap out haha
  3. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=205097251 So I snooped through the history of New Mexico State football and found this guy. Was there from 2001-2004, and is now at Nebraska. Started out his career as a G.A. at Northern Iowa. He is also the recruiting coordinator at Nebraska. If there is a shot in the dark guy I would think he would be it from Faison's past relationships at new Mexico State.
  4. My bad, got confused in all this mess. My apologies
  5. Playing detective, the first FBS bowl game is Dec 21st which is 11 days out, which is to far. Me thinks it is someone that is currently in the FCS playoffs. Not sure which coordinator it would be though.
  6. I agree with UND-1...He really doesn't have the right experience and was no better off than a lot of the other applicants.
  7. He really had no reason too. Might as well get the experience at the FBS leven if he is already there.
  8. All I can think of is he has his pick in mind who hasn't applied yet and is talking him into it. .it's the only logical answer.
  9. He has a couple strong accusations against him and was already fired from that job.....He won't even be considered.
  10. He also worked with the #1 overall pick in last year's draft.
  11. The more I read on DeWitt the more I am intrigued by him.
  12. Who was the head coach of Sioux Falls when they beat us? Any chance of him coming this way as either the HC or coordinator? Dale has now destroyed 2 programs. .who would have thought
  13. Who was the head coach of Sioux Falls when they beat us? Any chance of him coming this way as either the HC or coordinator?
  14. Have you heard of any time frame? Thanks for the info
  15. Barring any surprises, I would say that Pflugrad is the favorite. That being said, I am stilling expecting another applicant to come through to challenge him, just don't think Bubba has done enough at SIU to be the guy.
  16. Look up Bart Miller the offensive line coach out of new mexico. He is the kind of risk I want to take
  17. Of course he has but it's a bit different from a coaching level.....I just think some folks here like him because of his name and that's it, They are just trying to rationalize with his limited coaching experience. That is just my opinion. We will have many applicants who are much more qualified.
  18. What are you even talking about....He is a great coordinator and was my #1 choice.....The fact he was employed by NDSU shouldn't matter
  19. Read what I wrote....I simply said I liked him as a coach. His teams tackle great and get to the ball quickly. It has nothing to do with NDSU. Not sure how you thought it was a defeatist attitude...simply dumb
  20. Yup, I have a feeling the final 3 have already been arranged for interviews and are waiting until the last second to officialy get the application in. I also think the final 3 are people we have yet to really discuss on here....that is just wishful thinking on my part though.
  21. I still think we don't know any of the 3 finalists. Hopefully Brian is going to use his FBS ties to bring up someone up here as none of the current applicants really excite me.
  22. This is true, but going from just a position coach to planning a game plan for an entire side of the ball is a big jump in and of itself. How can they handle in game adjustments, injuries, etc.....it's a big risk to hire someone who has never done that before above a high-school level....especially when that highschool level was only for 1 season. You take away his name recognition and we wouldn't even be discussing him as a viable candidate. Sometimes you have to take of the green and white blinders and select the best available candidate.
  23. Being a defensive coordinator at multiple FBS schools over a decade is a bit different than 2 years as a QB coach at 1 FBS school......that is pretty obvious.
  24. I have to think with the minimum salary listed on the job posting that it will no longer be a problem......at least that is what I am hoping.
