This is very very true. Even though Emery has been up and down, we could really use a shutdown defenseman against Duluth's rising offence, so his Friday suspension may hit us hard.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

I’m not worried about your sources but I am wondering which guys are likely to transfer? If you’re willing to put an over/under on things then you must know who the likely suspects are? -
2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Yes and no. If we are going for an at large bid, We don’t want Kato and Cornell to do TOO well because they are on the bubble and we want them to stay just barely on the outside looking in (like 15-19). If one of them ends up safely in the field but another team from their conference wins the auto bid, that makes it tighter for us to get in. And obviously we want all the other bubble teams to fail miserably the next few weeks (unlikely for Quinnipiac since they always progress toward the end of the year, what a concept). -
This aged very well. Props. Color me very surprised at the results. Good night of hockey all around for our boys in green and our boys reppin’ the red white and blue

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Wouldn’t it be a bummer for Wilkie when RIT gets the auto bid from the AHA tournament while our boys are watching the NCAAs from the altitude chamber -
Those are going to be worth a fair amount since the gophers will almost certainly get placed in Fargo. So nice of us to keep hosting for them

It matters that Hobie gets game time experience against high end teams.
-
Oh man, he’s going to play TJ tomorrow. Hobie deserves much better support from the coaching staff. Plus he’s also the better goalie overall.
-
I honestly have zero source or have heard rumors of Sacha. But based on the climate of high end players, their future NHL organizations don’t want them playing where they can’t develop (the best example someone said earlier was Isaac Howard going from Duluth to Michigan state). I’ll be surprised if Boisvert doesn’t transfer somewhere out East where he can play high end hockey and be a little closer to home. BC or Maine since BC will lose a couple high end guys at the end of the season.
-
He’s not close to being NHL ready yet but he’s going to go to a program that utilizes offense better than what he’s had so far
-
I honestly think Sacha’s advisor is already sniffing around to see where he can transfer after this season. He may already know or will know soon

I see what you did there. Let’s hope the superstition works

6-1 Denver tonight

This might sound bad but if Perron is on the fence between playing or not I wonder if they consider only playing him on the Power play or if we are down a goal or 2 late in the game. Because with us having VERY little chance of getting an at large bid, let him rest as long as needed so we can have full power for conference playoffs.
-
Absolutely. Ryan Lasch and Garret Roe from Clown were also skilled in the art of the dive

Gavyn Thoreson was going to accept the nomination but he got an embellishment penalty on the way there. I’ll see myself out.
-
I know jammer took an early penalty, but his motor is running hard and he’d bring a lot more to that line than Kunz. More speed and more drive.
-
And don’t forget, they’re both regulars on the power play. Brilliant
-
Kunz is wasting the talent of Berg and James. Wilkie wasting the talent of Boisvert. We have 2 of our slowest and most disappointing forwards playing in the top 6 with some of our best talent. It’s beyond unreal. But they will think: “hey, we have a lead going into the 3rd, so keeping our top lines impotent is a great idea”.
-
Are there other skaters slower than Kunz? What are we doing here? Almost every other player might be better in that spot. The insanity is out of control.
-
He hasn’t been good but I’d wait a wee bit longer before calling him a bust.
-
Guessing Boisvert will be at Michigan state next year and Zellers will be at Denver.
-
Remember their preseason rank was #6 (which was too high but it is what it is). That has to be some kind of record National expectation to actual performance.
-
Man we had such a great shift with them hemmed in and then Boisvert shoots it to never land and the puck is out of the zone
-
No. Monty has taken his place on the top line.
