Are you somehow suggesting that fan bases at EVERY level seek to expound the virtues of the backup QB because he isn't playing and they when he plays he disappoints them?

I understand the trepidation many of you are experiencing. I'm old enough to remember having the same feeling many, many years ago before the Mike Mooney Moment (MMM). The Bison had those great teams back then; had UND's number. Them ONE PLAY made all the difference. Changed history. It was the MMM. If it could happen then, why not now?

That team didn’t look good, but we can attribute much of that to UND looking really good.

The WR crew has gotten better, but I am still not seeing a ton of explosiveness from them in general. I don't care how far your QB can toss the pigskin if his receivers aren't out there to catch it.

The Kaminski talk is nuts. I just read that Eli Manning sat the RS year AND the following year. He then played 3 consecutive years in college. He said he NEEDED to sit and learn those first two years.

I have friends who are BIson fans who buy UND season tix just for this game. But I really can't understand the UND fans who sell their seats to the Bison fans for this game. Saw too much of that 2 years ago.

Whatever my thoughts are of the past, I don't spend my time hoping the team loses so as to validate my thoughts about him thereby giving me the opportunity to complain about all things UND FB.

Nope. But why do you and others have so much to say in Losses but nothing to say in Wins? Why did they win? Is there some skill here? Do coaches know what they are doing? In losses you guys have the answers to these questions.

It's strangely silent around here. It's as if those who had lots to say last week have nothing to say this week. As though they are happy to chime in when UND loses but have nothing to say when UND wins. What kind of fan could that be????

Oh c'mon. There's plenty on here who offer their opinions as though they know more than the coaches. If it offended you, you may be one of them.

Then again, neither are any of us, but that doesn't stop MANY from pretending they are.

Guy wasn't playing and for good reason. Watch him on film. Good run blocker, not so great as a pass blocker.
