  1. Yup But with Kaminski here and Sulik looking good he may have made the decision that no matter what he was not the GUY
  2. I think we should get used to it. Money is out there to draw these guys in. Don't want to wait for someone else to get it.
  3. Find the next Day by Day. Fruchte is great.
  4. Is ten pounds that much of a difference?
  5. The fact the DE and LBs are the same size concerns me for the DE's.
  6. Is Danny in a place where he makes all calls?
  7. Didn't he move from Fertile to the cities to get more exposure?
  8. I hope he's winning it and the other 2 are not losing it. Could be a loaded QB room which is necessary if the OL does not protect the starter.
  9. I suspect you're right about the number of incredibly knowledgeable football scholars who come to this site who wanted to get rid of Tommy. Too bad that a Big Ten team Michigan State got stuck with him.
  10. Aren't they being graded based on what they do at PRACTICE??
  11. Wow. I trust your eyes and judgement. The kid is a state champ and is a great competitor.
  12. From all that we've been thinking, that is really bold. Is he more than a Brockstar type?
  13. "incredibly mediocre" or "devastatingly mediocre"? Incredibly somehow sounds good.
  14. With you on Klein. Hoping he's a go to guy in the red zone.
  15. I'm not sure I was joking as much as commiserating about the new normal in the game. Young guys are going to look to greener pastures once they establish themselves as players. They will be more valuable with 3 years of eligibility rather than 1 though as we saw with Kilty, if you're really good, one year is still worth some big bucks.
  16. I like Klein a lot and I'm hopeful he gets over 15
  17. But in today's NIL/Portal climate, do you really want to see a true frosh show what he's got?
  18. Which two would have stayed and if you make the case for two why would any of them have left? I suppose my cynical point is, it's not going to be about coaches as much as it will be about money. Not saying that coaches don't matter, but the almighty dollar reigns supreme. How many adults work for jerks but get paid well for doing it?
  19. This is the new normal. Get young guys onto the field. If they develop well, they're off to greener pastures (more money). Rinse, repeat.
  20. So rosters will always have 50% RS and Frosh
  21. The concern of course is that they develop these guys over the next two years, they get good and the Portal calls. See, OL this spring.
  22. If we can't even keep the Schweigerts on our team...
  23. Was he really 235 last year. I thought Rucker looked like a 185 pound DB last year. Hoping he put on some weight though I think he was listed at 220 last year.
  24. Gotta be from a certain generation to know that. Now it's in my head as it goes round and round.
  25. https://x.com/Alexmichels60/status/1815516213650555387 6'5 280 Wisconsin OL
