Why wouldn't a coach maintain contact with a recruit right until the day he signs with any team? With hundreds of players transferring every year, by keeping contact right to the day he signs, he may think of transferring to your school. There are tons of reasons players transfer but most of the time it's assumed it's for a nefarious reason. It could simply be things like proximity to home, a greater chance to play or change in choice of college degree. Keeping in touch up to signing day is not some tawdry act. I'm also a USC fan, and read about 5 star recruits changing their minds post verbal commitment almost daily.

I love optimism, but Matt is right. It's why I quit reading the hockey board. Every 15 year old that may come here is the next Toews, Parise, Hrkac. God doesn't make that many of them.

I had the opposite experience trying to fill up in Vegas. Pump wouldn't work so went in and was informed I had to pay. Me- But I haven't started pumping yet. Clerk-you have to pay first. Agreed. Every time they win, we lose something. If you're a kid in Cal or Florida and you're even contemplating playing here and thus living here for at least 4 years are you going to the team that's winning now or the one that will in the future. Even if you're in Wisconsin or Minnesota the same rationale applies. This sucks! I HATE when they win.

After watching hs Hudl video, I'd say they use him on Offense Defense Special Teams.

The tide turned after the Bison had a great run. When UND got going the Bison went DI. Perhaps when we start taking over you guys will try FBS to get away from us again.

Every time Game Day goes to Fargo it kills us. Every time they play on TV it hurts. There's no reason to dispute that. But this all reminds me of the Plundering Turds run in the 80s that was followed by our turn in the 90s. What was it-3 of the last 4 head to head was won by the good guys? It WILL happen again, but we need patience.

For me, the Fire Hak issue has never been about first halves of the season. It's about the the final game of the season. Yes it's nice to do well now but this is UND hockey. We don't define success on halves of the season.

Was there last night. Great game in spots, but we had no answer inside plus they were more athletic in many positions. Loyd is fun to watch. All energy all the time. Need a 3 point threat v zone. Szablow is poised and a solid if unconventional PG. This is a nice team and worth heading out to see.

I didn't realize Banham was Big Ten preseason player of the year. This will be a fun game and tough test.
