They were pounding the rock.....pounding it.... But you can't lose to Idaho State at home.....

The 2016 Stony Brook game..... 13-9 loss because our offense under Rudy at times was as high octane as two tortoises getting it on. We are going to win 9-7 because their coach was very much Bubba ball too and loved him a good "punt is a good play" game too. I just checked and UND punted 8 times. Unfortunately we lose on a blocked punt TD in the 4th quarter. UND was marching in the 4th but The Manitoba Moose is stopped on 4th and 1 and we couldn't get it back, not like it would have mattered.

2015....we start the year beating Wyoming.....barely beat Drake....but we do... Then we play the Bizen and put up 61 yards of total offense....61 yards...I'll never forget how little we tried on offense that game....

My favorite memory from that season was the USD game. We were ranked #10 in the country and just got smacked by Chris Streveler and the Yotes. The next week we were ranked #17 playing against Montana State....we weren't ranked after that.... We had a three game stretch where we gave up 142 points....and a five game stretch where the least amount of points we gave up was 38....

I don't mind starting TJ, but you are right. Gotta get Hobie in the net. And at some point portal goalie has to stop.

The Bizen running Luepke over and over and over right up the gut.....couldn't stop it..... Over....and over.....and....

Maybe apples to bananas....but. Cant remember the year. We played Bowling Green. Two point at the end. It's an FBS game. Get the thing to OT.....Our defense was okay that day......

A square shot to the nuts that beating the Bizen was our "superbowl"...... Indiana State game that went to OT last season.....

Didn't the Moorhead running back fumble that game too? Like when we were running the clock out?

Yesterday hurt, they all do. Let's have a circle on this.....let's talk about our feelings. I'll start with some moments I can't get over. First memorable Bubba moment was the NAU game which was a must win with the Moose and Santiago playing in their last possible game in 2018. I've never seen a team look less interested in what was a pretty important game....laid an egg...multiple eggs.... Second one is 2016....the Richmond game....up big in the 2nd half. They are punting out of their end zone and the guy with the snake roughs the punter.....at the end we decide to not just let them score a TD and they kick an extra point field goal to win it...... Honorable mention was Northern Iowa's linebacker rushing for a bunch against us last year..... See, I feel better about it already....

I can't imagine this list.....talk about digging up some moments.... Someone needs to do it.

The way the kid played Simon wasn't going to let the game die in his hands. He was going to find a way. Ball is on the 3 yard line, Q is the 1 yard guy... Not having the most important guy all night on the field at the end of the game is just stupid. Another moment in a long line of what the hell moments with Bubba on the road. We are back to Mussman era defense....

And an extension?

Indiana State gave up 43 rushing yards to this QB. Sad state of affairs defensively. We let a 2-6 team run for 300 plus. Here we go down the road of gotta win X of the last games just to make the playoffs. They've got to win 3 of their last four to go on the road and lose in the playoffs.....great.

Turnovers will kill ya. That's the lesson from this weekend. This split feels much different than the split last weekend.

Can't say enough about Romfo today. The kid was fantastic in a game where his defense had more holes than Swiss cheese.

I'm all for going for the win, but Simon has to be on the field. Has too... The defense isn't good enough for the postseason. Gonna take a lot for 7-4 to happen.

Gave up the goal and football team crapped the bed. Uff.

Didn't deserve to win that game with that defensive performance.

We have to make that save...
