    To the credit of the officials, the marble theory seems to be going away. The league has a really good group of young officials. Todd Anderson was the replay official tonight, but I couldnt help think of the night at Target Center where he completely lost control. Pionk runs over Cam Johnson, the most obvious running the goalie incident in NCHC history, and he spent the rest of the night calling back and forth penalties because Duluth captain Dominic Toninato had to be restrained on every penalty against Duluth which meant UND had to be penalized in return.

    How many of those girls are from South? Can't be a ton. I can't imagine you had a ton of South boys on the Bruins this year either. Seems like a lot of Shanley kids.

    Credit to RR. After the first they did a great job keeping Central away from their net. Didn't see the 3rd, but locked down defensively.

    Losing Loney is big for Duluth. Replacing a top 6 center isn't easy.

    Minot North on the way. Will Grand Forks schools move back up in football then or stay with Wahpeton and schools with 1/3 of their population?

    They've got to be the favorite in the west. As we know though, we have to wait and see which kids are enrolled in August.

    It was more along the lines of the number of kids that leave other programs vs. Grand Forks programs.

    I think it's more of a they'd try anything for one sport vs. nothing for another sport they care zero about unfortunately.

    Help basketball in small towns: 3 classes. Help hockey in small towns: Crickets. High School Hockey is dying under the NDHSAA. Pay attention to Coach Wilson getting his shots in on the WDAY broadcast. He's right.

    As I walked out of the rink last night I ran into a long time high school coach who had a great line about the all GF final after we talked about "state of ND hockey". "Grand Forks may be the only place in the state where playing for their high school teams means something to these kids. They deserve to play each other in the ship." 100%

    Soak this all in after Ciskie laughed about Blake taking cheap shots from Bast after his 5 point evening. Guy just can't shut it off.

    Must not have because there was a few North Dakota gals playing in that Warroad-Holy Angels game.

    CC had a lot go right for them. They are a good team, but it was their weekend.
