I think the Mets are in over reaction mode and would trade for Correa. That allows the Twins to have Farmer play short until Brooks is ready, and gets rid of a lot of money. Plus the Mets may throw Parada, Ramirez, or a Mauricio in the deal to sweeten it.

I don't know what is more entertaining, watching Luis Arraez put up Tony Gwynn type numbers, or watching people (Twins apologists) just refer to a guy hitting .400 as "not a big deal" and "he's just a singles hitter". He's struck out less the entire season than the Twins did last night in Tampa. I'd say the group is possibly missing some piranhas type contact guys. New NCHC head of officials is Mike Schmitt. Which means we can officially close the book on an official that once said "I just make things up as I go along." Interesting side bar, I once called a penalty during a men's league game in Minot on Mike. And yes, he argued all the way to the box.

I had the chance to talk to him a bit this year and he is just a fantastic young coach in the hockey world. Humble, and a guy that kids like to play for. He will be a head coach in the NCAA one day. Mike Hastings putting together a fabulous staff for the badgers. Makes me wonder what the next step for Chad Demers is. Hope is health is okay.

Me three. I can't believe that with the guys that we had back it was so sketchy.....Frisch, Kleven, Jandric, Moore, Farmer, Sidorski....DeRidder plenty of experience...... I'm anxious to see how the new Swede will do with a better team in front of him. I hope he isn't one of those goalies that needs a ton of shots to be really really good, and when he only faces 16-20 he's average.....

Either Moore kills it and takes off with Q's system, or Pecknold kills the kid and he's in a suit for turning the puck over.

So, with the experience coming in, we would all have to assume that the d zone play would have to be better next season correct? Bringing in older and experienced guys, and a goalie that has been hung out to dry for three years in Miami.....has to be better right? My Minot High School math tells me that is 451 games of experience coming on to the goal prevention side of things next season. We give up 2-3 a game we should be fine, with the guys we have that should be putting the puck in the other net.
