  1. So, with the experience coming in, we would all have to assume that the d zone play would have to be better next season correct? Bringing in older and experienced guys, and a goalie that has been hung out to dry for three years in Miami.....has to be better right? Ludvig....82 Games Britt....131 Games Pyke....83 Games Pehrson....127 Games Zmolek....28 Games.... My Minot High School math tells me that is 451 games of experience coming on to the goal prevention side of things next season. We give up 2-3 a game we should be fine, with the guys we have that should be putting the puck in the other net.
  2. Emilio Pagan again..... Didn't play bad in Dodger stadium, some things didn't go their way.
  3. Most importantly, they are winning series. Dropped the first to San Diego and Chicago, but came back to grab the last two. Thats really all they'll need to do to win what has been a pretty poor AL Central to start the season.
  4. [Rant] Would you look at that. You have an NCAA tournament game being hosted by the higher seeded team at their home field. Next week too when you have softball starting.... Nobody tell the hockey people or heads will SPLODE!!!!! [/rant]
  5. Nineteen year old center with three years of eligibility left. I'd say he will find a home pretty quickly.
  6. Not a great last week. Long season though. Varland pitched well tonight, but they can't hit to save their lives. Kepler can't lead off. Need a high OBP guy.
  7. West Fargo is Triplett, hearing that South will be announced soon. My bet would be Christian Berg.
  8. GOOD GOALIE FROM CRAPPY PROGRAM LEAVES FOR TEAM WITH A CHANCE TO WIN. READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!!!
  9. He got $200,000 guaranteed from the Cowboys. I mean bigger money in play in the NFL, but that's a decent haul for undrafted guy with a bumb shoulder.
  10. The Bruins got worked in OT. Just couldn't recover from giving up that late goal.
  11. Trey Augustine fantastic in net today as team USA comes back and wins in OT 3-2 against an excellent Sweden team. Sparty has got themselves a goalie.
  12. Like #8 or hate #8 it was the right call not to take a QB there. One is needed at some point, but don't take Christian Ponder again because you are dead set at taking a QB.
  13. USA wins 7-1....will play Canada or Sweden for the ship.
  14. Sweep the Royals.....please.....these are games you need to win against a team that has no hope.
  15. USA playing against Slovaks today. Up 1-0 early. If anyone wants to see a goaltending performance, watch the replay of Slovakia vs. Finland.
  16. I agree on Dean. A team takes on the persona of their coach. Settle the eff down. The Wild have lost their composure.
  17. He's a better person than I'd be... He's right though, figure out a way to win a best of three.
  18. Hopefully he doesn't hold back. Love his interviews.
  19. I've got no horses in the race, but the officials can't make the two calls they did on the Foligno. Directly lead to goals. That's gotta be it for that duo.
  20. Ahhh yes! But the binder says don't bunt so we can statistically have a bigger inning. We could have scored 5 runs there in the bottom of the 9th there and won 7-3....
  21. Throw out the Bomba juiced baseball year and he's a sub .500 manager. Not playing a no doubles defense on Friday night late in the game cost them, and surprisingly not throwing to the cutoff man cost them the game. This isn't the first time we've seen stuff like this. Kepler making the third out of a game at home when they are down 5, misusing the bullpen....I'd get into Polanco not bunting to put the winning run on 2nd and keep them out of a double play but that would irk the don't bunt crowd.
  22. Yup, proclaimed themselves kings of the world at 10-4....then they had a week to forget. At least Correa got his average above .200. Kepler....not so much.
  23. Team ND in the championship game for the third year in a row at the CCM CIT tournament. Lost 1-0 in a shootout to Michigan, then beat Minnesota and then Wisconsin today.
  24. I don't see Western being married to Miami as far as following whatever move the Red Hawks make. If anything they've grown as a program after the move to the NCHC, and have gotten some elite kids into Kalamazoo. To me the CCHA would be a step back for them, but a move that makes sense for Miami.
  25. Anything....anything but Kepler..... Get someone with a pulse leading off.
