  1. Team ND in the championship game for the third year in a row at the CCM CIT tournament. Lost 1-0 in a shootout to Michigan, then beat Minnesota and then Wisconsin today.
  2. I don't see Western being married to Miami as far as following whatever move the Red Hawks make. If anything they've grown as a program after the move to the NCHC, and have gotten some elite kids into Kalamazoo. To me the CCHA would be a step back for them, but a move that makes sense for Miami.
  3. Anything....anything but Kepler..... Get someone with a pulse leading off.
  4. Ohhh....but he hit a home run last night so that buys him a month right?
  5. Anywhere else and the kid goes NTDP, but like you said....something about Warroad makes em stay. Will get some decent competition, but obviously not like a schedule the U18 plays.
  6. Likely playing his senior year in Warroad I'd assume. He is going to put up ridiculous numbers next season. A lot of Shaugabay's assists went to this kid burying the puck.
  7. Twins lose 6-1 today. Everyone talking wash your hands, but they only scored one run. Kepler back, so there is that. Still a successful trip to NY.
  8. I'd be mildly upset if the team wasn't in St. Paul twice in the spring.
  9. Experienced d core....check. Experienced goalie....check. Some forwards that can roll....check. Here they've got me all excited now......
  10. The one time in my life the Twins go nuts on the Yankees at Yankee stadium. Great job by Joe Ryan, and Varland pitches at Yankee Stadium again tonight. Just win one of three more and we are happy.
  11. That is why you bunt the baseball....
  12. He's been told 100 times as a d man since youth hockey to play inside the dots so he figured in OT he would test the outside the dots theory.
  13. Heavy line. Johanson, Jammer, Jackson Kunz.
  14. Definitely a coulda woulda for them. If they ever have a d core like that again I'd be shocked. Was 2011 a successful year for UND? Absolutely. Didn't reach the pinnacle but that team checked a lot of boxes. I'd put this gopher team in that category.
  15. Exactly. Under ten minutes left its almost don't touch anyone in the offensive end time.
  16. Happy Easter everyone. Hug your friends today!
  17. At least we have an early nominee for preposterous post of the year. I'm going to find a Boston Red Sox fan board and educate them on proper etiquette in cheering for the Yankees. Time to make a difference.
  18. Apologists will forever bring that up, but watch the replay and Cooley takes it too far. He could have gotten a holding for taking his free hand and grabbing QU player initially, but after that when they locked horns he got two shots in to the head of Q player. Q player could have gotten a penalty too for holding the stick or roughing, but if Cooley is smart he doesn't even get involved in a meaningless play in the o zone with under five left. I'm shocked he didn't just kick his head back and lay on the ice, it worked earlier for Minnesota.
  19. If anybody has Wally Shaver's OT call.....what I wouldn't give.... And the game tying goal too.
  20. Lol, I should be. That was a fun hockey game to watch.
  21. Stat of the game....gophers with 8 shots total after the first period. I'd be willing to bet they blocked more shots during that time.
  22. Thought the gophers were fine, but I don't know if they expected Q to quit, but they just got manhandled after their second goal. Had one chance to score in the third and spent the rest of the period relying on great sticks defensively or they lose 5-2....
  23. For your viewing pleasure.
  24. The right team won. Dominated after the second gophers goal.
  25. Gopher fans can't believe Cooley got a penalty for grabbing guy, then punching him twice....
