Rau is one of the best I've ever seen. He is so good at making it seem like a penalty. Robbie Earl sucked because it was every time he got touched. And Rau is smart about it. If Minnesota is owed a power play he knows it and he will make a border line play look glorious.

CC was twenty seconds away from really helping. But that's the story of their season.

Some thoughts: ~They controlled the entire game, but got lucky as hell that Illo didn't score in overtime there.....lucky bounce. ~Have to find ways to score. Plenty of chances to put BSU away, but didn't. ~I'll give credit to Walsh. Might have been the best game he's played in his college career. But sick of watching goalies get the best of UND. ~Zane was pretty good again. The one goal came off a bad play by Pattyn and Ausmus. Unbeaten streak now to 8 games, but a huge huge game tomorrow night in Grand Forks.

Not going to lie....if a guy held me the entire shift I'd slash him too.

WCHA officiating......no holding, interference, obstruction, etc...... Just wrap your arms around a guy and hold on so he can't get out of the corner.

Rodwell is just a different player. Endless energy and so hard to take off the puck. Glad he's playing like this his senior year.

Honestly......why can't UND score on Faragher? I'm watching western tear him up for 4 goals half way through and likely to have more. Be big for UND if Western beat SCSU tonight. Lets go Broncos....right Broncos? Crap, what are they....

Anybody know if the team got to Bemidji or even left tonight at all? My guess is probably the morning if they didn't make it out at all today.

Lots of reasons. Here is my short list. -Dumping the puck too much. Tonight they dumped it on a 5-3....and it got sent down right away. -Too much indirect passing. Watch good pp units. Tape to tape. Crappy ice murders your indirect passing game. Also aggressive killing teams jump all over indirect passes. -They don't shoot enough with net front presence. Brad Malone should come back and teach screening a goalie. -They don't shoot enough period. That's my opinion. I'm sure there are other things. Funny how at times lines have more offensive zone chemistry 5X5 than when they're 5X4.....thats hockey though.
