Honestly, its time to get rid of the preseason. Just zero $hits given by either team. The only thing of interest is "Will said player make the team." Just let them have practice with other teams and fine or suspend the guys that get into fights at these sessions.

Helluva effort by the 2nd stringers today. Never been too much on the Zimmer needs to go train, but if last season creeps into this season performance wise and we see them continue to get out schemed on defense by younger and more innovative coordinators it may be time for a break up.

Personally I'd like to see them part ways with both Samia and Dozier. Find a camp casualty somewhere after cuts. Hopefully they aren't in an injury situation where they feel the need to keep either in a non practice squad situation.

The knock on him is being soft in his own end and always being the first forward out of his own end. Many question his skating ability as well. He will put up plenty of points in the OHL, but does he ever make it further than the San Diego Gulls??

God, what a year with Jeff Jackson would have done for this kid in his own end. Now he can fly the zone all he wants in the OHL.

I could see Ryan earning a starting job. Thinking Strotman may have more of a reliever future with the arm issues he's had.

Was sad that you had the absolute best players in the Japanese professional league playing against a bunch of AAA guys and former decent mlb players in the gold medal game. Japan actually paused their professional season so they could make a strong push at gold.
