I'll say East sweep, but the afternoon session will decent games. Would be fun to see the Jays in the semifinals again. Been a while.

I think Sheyenne played 10 kids today total. The only way they were going to beat Central. Hats off though they got it done.

I thought this as well honestly. I'd much rather play Mandan than Minot first round, but seeing Jamestown/Sheyenne round 2 is much better than the big red monster on the other side.

They did it earlier this year against Sheyenne, and put their starter back in when Sheyenne got a couple.

I thought they did a great job for most of the weekend. Its sad because I thought Friday was extremely well officiated yet you've got Sandy and Bruce Ciskie complaining to bulldog nation afterwards that the PP discrepancy was 4-1 and we scored two PP goals (off clear penalties) 4x3. So the dogs dominated most of the 5x5 and our goalie battled like crazy to get us a win, yet they were better 5x5 so who is the scapegoat? Not your team that played a $hit second period, the reffs. This from the team represented most in the NCAA watch for divers video.... Sig always had great lines about the reffs and heavy pockets with marbles....I miss that guy.

Biondi played a ton in the third. Not sure why you keep your best forward on the bench at the end when he's been out every other shift even after the cup check moment. Was Sandy was protecting him possibly? At the same time UND doesn't have enough healthy bodies to be taking runs at anyone at the moment with league discipline guy happy to hand out additional games.

I agree, but in a weather situation with a region tournament going on the NDHSAA has to have some $$ set aside somewhere for something like this. And if a lot of taxpayers took the time to look over budgets of schools they'd throw a fit anyways.

Update: No Sheyenne game for sure. North and Red River set for 3pm still. Possible EDC title game in Fargo?

Updated: No title game, other games moved back. I had heard that one of the Fargo teams was practicing today because of the weather. We will see.

No games in Grand Forks today. You wonder if they could at least get the championship game in today. Guessing that will be delayed.

Official looks right at it. Can't see well enough to call it a spear though. Biondi not a dirty player, just needs to control his stick a wee bit better. I'd have to pull out the rule book on shots to the manhood whether intent is there or not.
