I think Iowa is the perfect team for a SDSU or NDSU to play. If you can hang in there in the trenches you'll be okay because they aren't going to spread you out whatsoever. Hopefully the Jacks can get a win.

Looking at the Twins record as well as the rest of the AL Central makes one chuckle. Chicago is .500 with a bunch of talent, the Twins are 4 games above .500 with a bunch of talent and a fixed bullpen. Cleveland is 6 games above with great pitching, but goes into worse offensive stretches then the Twins. Maybe Cleveland has the best chance of the three in the postseason, but I can't imagine any of these teams making a run.

Let's roll with 45-21 Huskers. Be very surprised if the over doesn't get hit.

At least now I'm getting immune to bad losses by the Twins because they've had so many this year. Lopez hasn't been good.

Gordon has been so valuable. Many experts had the Twins letting him go since he's out of options, but he's been huge for the club. If you had a healthy Buxton in center, and Garlick playing left, I'd have no issue sitting Kepler and having Gordon play RF. Or if Correa opts out let Gordon hold short until Royce is back.

Red River or South/Shanley for the Natty in the boys.
