Such is the Twins.....trade for a bunch of arms and then a guy who has been reliable let's one slip while Pagan and Smith have clean sheets. The injuries are devastating right now...Buck, Kepler, Kiriloff, Larnach. If Buxton goes on the IL that means that your outfield going forward is Cave, Gordon, Celistino or Contreras? Maybe Gio can play left field?

People.....people..... Hain-Jammer-Sendo That's the Tweet. -
2023 Rotation: Mahle, Gray, Ryan, Maeda.....TBA No more Archer or Bundy.....sigh.... With the likelihood that Correa leaves they can get a rotation arm and have an actual rotation.
-
If they can figure out a way to get a 6-7th inning guy now to compliment Jax..... 6. TBA/Duffey 7. Jax 8. Duran 9. Lopez Pagan now officially a throw away game arm. No need to pitch when the game is close.

I'm told an announcement is coming......the anticipation I tell ya.... Big win last night too.
-
Got a closer, so I'll eat crow. I'll take a second helping if they are able to get themselves a starting pitcher.....fingers crossed.....

Lot of great opinions I've read so far. I was just at the Herb Brooks Arena in St. Cloud and I was told so many things wrong with that rink (boards are original, lighting, seating, bathrooms, etc)..... Got a chance to walk on the ice and stand in the opposing goaltender's crease. Looked to my right, and the student section is right on top of you.....right where it's supposed to be.

I hate hearing that the Twins are "super aggressive" in the trade market only to be played for a fool when the deadline ends and nothing happens when "the right deal" wasn't out there.

Houston wants an outfielder. How about Kepler for Odorizzi?
-
With the feeder program having as many kids as it does I can't imagine Horace not having a team. That being said you are now taking from Sheyenne for Horace so inevitably WF will have a tough time getting a team to the state tournament.

I believe that Century and Legacy won't be together in boys hockey. Three boys teams and two girls teams in the capital.
-
Trade Gio, or trade Sano? Not sure if you can get a pitcher back for either. Other than Arraez, Miranda, Buxton, Duran, Polanco, Ryan, I think everyone is on the table in possible trade talks. I still have this imaginary hope that they could get something for Kepler.

No, and $400 plus according to young goaltenders that I walk past time and again. I challenge a UND goaltender to go old school with the KG old Cooper helmet and throat protector. The pain of getting hit with a puck with one of those is temporary, I promise..... -

How did DeRidder look? Tough to get a good look though from early scrimmages when the goalies get hung out to dry. -
Second season begins on.....a Saturday? Boy, maybe could have played one of those 5 games in Detroit from earlier in the year this Friday. Anyways, away we go on what should be an entertaining ride through September. Final Central Standings Predictions: 1. White Sox 2. Twins 3. Guardians 4. Tigers 5. Royals I believe whomever wins the division will do so with less than 90 wins.

Blake to Hoogste.....Blake to Gaber......scores!!!!!!! Barring any injury I think Gaber ends up a Hobey finalist and All American this season. Is a 60 point season possible for him, or is the NCHC to good defensively to allow that type of year to happen? Brink was close last year with 57. -
I was happy to see Cam win it. Heart was pulling for Young, but it was fun to watch the round. Now reports are coming in that the Saudi's are offering him 90 million to come over to LIV. Not sure I could turn down that kind of money, but I didn't just win the British open and have a bright future ahead of me on the course.
-
Completely agree. The game has just evolved to where St. Andrew's can't contain these guys that can kill the ball. Augusta changed up their course because the scores were getting too obsurd, and if the weather is kind to these guys you'll have a champion tomorrow shooting 20 plus under par. I'm a hack, but 18 playing at 354 yards with an impossible to miss fairway would be a driver and a wedge before a three put.
-
How many times have the Twins had a guy on third this year with no outs and not get him in? Gray has just been slapped around lately. Maybe the break will help him out.
-
No Giolito either. Take advantage of it Twins. Three of four would be huge.
-
Great win for the guys today. Good pitching performance by Ryan, Thielbar, Jax, and Duran. Wish Ryan could have went longer, but a win is a win.
-
Joe Ryan is pitching well and they take him out with 78 pitches in the 6th....and we wonder why the bullpen is taxed daily. You are getting a good pitching performance against a good team, why take Ryan out? Easily could have pitched into the 7th, who knows, maybe the 8th inning? Maybe just once we don't follow the binder for a moment.

Yeah I've heard of a couple as well. Was talking to a head coach a while back and he said that the development/coaching at the B level of the youth programs is of critical importance now more than ever because you just go on the assumption that your top end kids could leave or are getting offers.

I think because of Jasper bolting I'll forever have "ohh God what if he stands out" running through my head during these camps. You are right though, happened one time.....shouldn't again right? Right?
