I hope you're right, but Medina had a 5.88 ERA and 1.7 WHIP in 33 innings last year. Didn't fair well yesterday, but first appearance of the year so I'll give him a break and let him get some more innings under his belt.

Lost 5 of their last six against Detroit.... That Rodgers trade was an epic fail....I know "team control" but we lost that trade. Hands down. Without looking it up could anybody name a pitcher who came back successfully from a 2nd TJ surgery???
-
So when the Twins go to Toronto I suppose we will get a Mcfeely Forum article about the non vaxed Twins letting everyone down?
-
Ummm....no comment. Let's leave it at that.
-
Royce up....and hurt.... On a positive note Arraez leads the league in OBP.
-
Please just tell me that Smeltzer took himself out....please.... Not hitting much lately. Miranda down, Royce up? Or do they let Gordon go?
-
If the Twins could have hit at all during this series they could have saved Duran for today instead of giving the Tigers the last guy in the pen today in Megill. Instead in comes Megill and the rest is history. Much different at bats at the end and they scrape across a sweep. Series win.....but have to sweep Detroit....have to.....
-
Twins baseball not a hot topic anymore. I was very wrong about Gary Sanchez, has been hitting well of late. This stretch of games with the Tigers and Royals needs to be dominated. Detroit's pitching is in shambles, and they'll be facing the Royals without Twin's killer Salvodor Perez. Win these games you are supposed to win before the Yankees and Tampa come and beat us a few times.

So now..... -Paddack is out for the year. -Archer can't get people out. -Bundy exactly who we thought he was. Leaves us: Ryan, Winder, Sonny, and Ober as guys you can put on the mound. Cash dumped Donaldson to NY but wish NY would have kept Gio and Sanchez. And now it's too late and those guys are in the untradeable ship and dead weight.
-
Looking ahead....Bundy is getting skipped this next week. You've got the Stros and Indi....Guardians coming in next week. Guessing Buxton sits today.
-
Twins picked the perfect team to not hit against. Hope Buxton isn't hurt....again. A nice start for Royce. Good to see him hit a bit.
-
Of course Correa gets hurt after Sano, and Sonny, and Buxton....dumb.
-
I think you are right. I'd like a five man to get Ryan and Gray on the mound more often, but you can never have too much starting pitching.
-
So when Gray comes back you've got: 1. Gray 2. Ryan 3. Paddack 4. Archer 5. Winder 6. Bundy 7. Ober Gotta go with five: 1. Ryan 2. Gray 3. Winder 4. Paddack 5. Archer Maybe Ober over Archer but if Winder faulters its good to Archer around. Bundy gets one more start, and if explodes again I'm guessing he is on his way.
-
Bundy gives up six....team rallies to get back into the game....Bundy gives up three more.... If its 6-0 pitch until your arm falls off. After the lineup got you back into the game you need to go back with a guy that gives you a chance to win. Now its 9-4 and a hill to climb.
-
At least Archer got through 4 today. 9-1. Good road win.

Guys guys.......come on.... -
There is the Bundy I figured they were getting.
-
Can't believe we didn't take Williams or Even Hamilton there at 12. I'm calling that trade a loss. So the Lions finally beat us.
-
Great move by Rocco getting Ober out. (Unless he got hurt, not watching). These are games you need to win. The AL Central is extremely bad this year.
-
Thank you Nelson Cruz. You got us an ace, that is under team control for six years..... 6 in a row for Rocco....
-
Lost in all that.....what in the baserunning world are Sano and Larnach doing? Larnach....half way.....Sano.....the guy ahead of you is still on seco..... Thankfully its Detroit. 5 in a row!
-
Rocco.....the bullpen.....come on....

Best of luck to Mr. Budy. I have a few diabetics in my family and being able to manage that while being a collegiate athlete takes commitment. -
I like the Bundy story, but I can't see it lasting. Five innings is the max for him because getting to the third time through a lineup he just doesn't have the stuff to keep hitters off balance. Archer in the same boat. Get it to the pen with a chance in the 6th and they've done their job. Jury still out on Paddack. He may have to throw a gem or two to get me on board with that trade.
