Denver is a better team than Duluth, and the smart pick, but I went kiss of death mode on Duluth. I've always ended some teams season (See SCSU/Minnesota/Us) while @Dave Berger has put this on. I've grown to dislike Duluth enough now to where I will just pick them when they make it to end their hopes.

Our inability to be able to roll into anything other than an umbrella/overload at times hurt. When Sanderson was healthy you couldn't press the top guy (him) on our PP or you were asking for trouble. Our PP lived and died with Sanderson unfortunately. We had some success in 4-3 PP looks, but what team doesn't with all that space?

I'm glad the coaches were proactive with the goaltending position. Maybe it was unnecessary if the Swede has a big summer and takes the net and runs with it all year. However, the kid just didn't get in there enough this season. Wonder what the conversation with Hedquist was like? Doesn't turn 20 until February so still plenty of junior eligibility.

I'd say we've got to be the most hated fanbase in college hockey. Its actually kind of funny to see all the stuff on social media. Someone actually created a Twitter handle solely for the purpose of tweeting out the "Nope" with the Hawk logo every time any UND team loses. UND is living rent free in the heads of the Mavpuck/running with the dogs/huskies wooooo......etc. We have plenty of stupid fans that do stupid things, but what fanbase doesn't?
