I thought the 16U hung pretty well with Nashville. When you consider who that group of kids lost to North Star and Sioux Falls. That Spiewak kid is fun to watch.

He went on a bit of a diatribe against the Blue Jays front office. Even mentioning that their manager was just itching all game to not let Berrios go deep into the game and get another pitcher in there. Something along the lines of the decision being made in the wee hours of the morning by a guy looking at a spreadsheet.

You had quite a few underclassmen head to the North Star/Sioux Falls/Shattuck of the world. The Seniors I know of are Luc Bydal (Red River), and Colton Getzlaff (Bottineau) in the SJHL, and Max Vig (Century) went to Central Oklahoma of the NAHL. There are probably ones that I'm forgetting, but those were the main seniors.

As soon as Sonny went to his hat and peaked back I thought, "did he just give Correa a sign? No way...." Great timing. Multiple 3-2 pitches wasted by Bichette, and the team needed to hold the momentum after taking the 2-0 lead.

I wondered why the game was so short, but Carolina made every effort to shorten the game by running the ball as much as possible and milked the heck out of the play clock. Add that to the Vikings only passing 19 times, and 2:30 pm I started to mow the lawn because it was over.

Need someone to step up and be Kirby Puckett. Put the team on your back and get the job done. Through the entire losing streak how many clutch moments have there been from players in a Twins uniform? Early in the game tomorrow someone will have a big at bat with ducks on the pond, and they've got to set the precedent and get the job done.
