Yes, I was at the game (not by the penalty box though) All I'm saying is Security is terrible at alot of he arenas. I happend to tape the game and the TV had a shot of Irmen in the penalty box getting crap from the fans and the security people were laughing. It didn't show the fans spitting on Irmen but Irmen told his parents that he got spit on.

Security? Security is a joke at these games. All they care about is seeing a hockey game for free. If you don't believe me thats fine but it did happen.

Irmens parents told me about him getting spit on in the penalty box. I'm friends with the Irmen parents so the source is pretty solid.

First of all, Kessel held his hand to his ear for about half the rink NOT most of the rink that you implied. Lammy did his stick rap from the back boards end to end. If you want to get technical I will give you that Kessel did his alittle longer. Also, don't forget about Lammy's shooting the puck into the stands at Mariucci on Friday night of the Gopher game. I agree with you that both players behaved badly and yes some player is going to rail a Gopher or Sioux player for these actions. I'm curious on why you think the Gophers are classless? What do they do that other players on teams do not do?

If Irmen (Jersey Popping) and Kessel (Ear Holding) are classless little punks as you say then Chorney and Lammy are classless little punks also. Since Chorney jersey Popped after he scored against Minnesota and Lammy did his stick taunting after the Sioux victory in Minnesota. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Minnesota fans being arrogant about Back to Back and Sioux fans on who has more titles. i'm just saying not all Gopher fans are arrogant and not all Sioux fans are arrogant. All programs have there share of arrogant fans.

I do agree with you regarding the Hirsch and Bina signs. But if minnesota fan is spouting off about something he is considered arrogant but if a Sioux fan spouts off about something it is just good ribbing. Interesting analogy.

I never said it was offensive but it is arrogant for Sioux fans to keep spouting off on it. Sioux fans keep saying Minnesota fans are arrogant (and there are some) but this is an example on how some Sioux fans are arrogant also.

Bucky sucks is right about the Hirsch sign, I was at the game when the incident occurred. I wrote about it after the final five game. Like it has been discussed before, every program has there good and bad fans. Also, I've been to every arena in the league as well as some eastern schools and to me CC fans has some of the most obnoxious fans I have encountered. It helps that you can drink in the arena. As for Arrogant, Minnesota has there share but so do the Sioux. I can't count how many times a Sioux fan came up to me at the Ralph this year or at the Frozen four last year and reminded me that the Sioux have seven championships compared to Five that the Gophers have. There were even signs in the arena that showed this.

I know this is alittle early but next years schedule has UND playing at Minnesota but Minnesota does not come to UND. I heard this last month when Minnesota was up in Grand Forks.

I wonder if TH has seen the memo from Tom Buning (Director of Athletics) towards the behavior of UND Students at the Ralph? Maybe before he starts ripping into Minnesota fans as being Bush league he should read the memo. Minnesota has some idiot fans (key word "SOME") just like every other program.

It's different because he shot it into the stands after the game ended. If a player shoots the puck during play most people are paying attention but after the horn sounds some people don't pay attention. Just my opinion.

I was at the game and did see Lammy shoot the puck into the stands. It looked like it was out of frustration but the point is somebody could have got hurt if the puck hit him/her in the head, and that would not have been a joke. Not a smart move.

If there is a bad call he is going to bitch about just like EVERYBODY else. If a ND player got DQ on a questionable call you can bet Hakstol would be complaining about it, and he should.

When the first story came out about Hockey players drinking underage Fox 9 had Jordon Leopold's Mom as a source. She had said Jordon would tell her that players always got into bars underage. The only problem was Jordon has not spoken to his mom in over seven years, since he was in high school. He has a restaining order on her and when Fox 9 was told about this BEFORE they did the story but they did not recant her story. Fox 9 also did not report that on some of the nights the players were in the bar the bar had a 18 age entry night. Some of the players were drinking but some were not, all fox 9 was concerned about was that they were in the bar even though they were in there legally. On the recruiting segment Fox 9 stated that a potentional recruit was at a bar and later he did not sign with the Gophers. Fox 9 made it seem the reason he didn't sign with the Gophers was because he was brought to a bar even though we all know recruits do not sign with a team because of other reasons not because he was brought into a bar. This kid may have not signed because of this but we including FOX 9 do not know.

I think the key word here is allegations. It seems to me it would be pretty hard to prove this owner got comp tickets for duing favors for these players. I know his name was on this list but he may have gotten some tickets for just being friends with these players not because he did favors for them. I know some people may disagree with me but the truth maybe hard to prove. I know some people who have gotten tickets from players just because they were their friends. All in all I think the owner of the bar is in trouble and he should be for letting minors into his establishment.

I'm curious on what you think of Jonathan Toews play, he is projected to go very high in the draft, very close to Kessel. I do agree with you about Kessel not being in Crosby's league, atleast he is not there yet.

Thank You Bacardio, that is exactly what I was talking about. They Recruited Grant lightly, Ryan heavily and even though they recruited Irmen, the Gophers wanted him more.

If being personal friends with the Potulny and Irmen family makes me a jersey chaser I think you have the wrong defintion of a jersey chaser.

When was the last time you talked to Irmen or his dad. I'm not saying he was or was not a jerk in High School but that was five or six years ago. I have talked to Danny many times and he has been great to me. As for his Dad, I have been with him at many home and away games and he has never acted the way you say he did. He may have been a jerk years ago but he certainly is not now.

What do you mean the Sioux passed him over. The Sioux actively recruited him, how is that passing him over. Irmen signed with the Gophers because they wanted him more not because the Sioux passed him over. Way to show some class on your last sentence.
